Making an ideal base for exploring the glorious scenery of the Jurassic Coast, the property is close to Bridport’s bustling town centre, with a wealth of great places to eat and drink.

A stroll will take you down to the glorious beach and busy harbour at West Bay via the cycle path (1 mile), with the coastal path leading east towards Abbotsbury (9 miles) and west to Lyme Regis (10.5 miles). The area has a wide variety of historic landmarks and popular attractions including Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens, the Symondsbury Estate, Coney’s Castle, and Forde Abbey and Gardens, all within 14 miles.

Entering this characterful hideaway, the lounge is tastefully presented, making an ideal space to unwind in, an original window seat, a wood burner-effect gas fire, and a Smart TV. Heading through, the country-style kitchen/diner has a traditional farmhouse-style dining table, ample storage and workspace, with plenty of equipment, including a lovely AGA and electric oven if preferred, perfect for preparing your favourite dishes.

Also on the ground floor with the family bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. When it’s time to turn in for the night, you will have a choice of three lovely bedrooms.

On the first floor there’s a king-size room with a handy en-suite shower room. You will also find a double room with a dressing table and an original window seat.

There is an additional WC on the first floor. Up on the second floor, a spacious family bedroom nestles in the eaves of the cottage, with large timber frames, wooden flooring, and two cosy beds: one king-size with an additional single bed.
