Guests have shared access to the Japanese-style gardens and tea hut between 8am and 5pm and private access between 5pm and 9pm.

Enjoy ambient lighting and music within the tea hut or take a soak in the chemical-free hot tub. Savour the exceptional beauty of the gardens or head off on long walks through your scenic, countryside surroundings.

Venture 6 miles to see the famous chalk giant at Cerne Abbas or head down to the dramatic Jurassic Coast. Picture-postcard Lulworth Cove is 23 miles away, while Durdle Door, with its impressive, limestone arch, is 22.5 miles from your base.

Head into Dorchester to peruse the independent shops and dine out. Climb the steps to the private entrance of this enchanting and truly special single-storey retreat.
