This one-bedroom lodge is set on a working farm in the heart of Somerset, offering couples a peaceful countryside escape with far-reaching views across the surrounding farmland. Nestled within the New Oaks Farm Lodges development and just 7 miles from Glastonbury, it provides a relaxing base from which to explore the county's charming market towns, historic attractions and rural landscapes.

The historic city of Wells, renowned for its magnificent cathedral and regular outdoor markets, is 15 miles away, while the famous Wookey Hole Caves are 17 miles from the property. Golfers can enjoy a round at Wheathill Golf Club (2 miles), which features an 18-hole course and driving range open to visitors.

Traditional Somerset pubs, including The Quarry Inn and Cross Keys Inn, can be found nearby, while attractions such as the Fleet Air Arm Museum, Haynes Motor Museum, Clarks Village shopping outlet and Harry's Cider Farm are all within easy driving distance. Inside, the lodge offers comfortable open-plan living, designed with relaxation in mind.

You may have seen this amazing attraction on the BBC1 Animal Park programme. This is actually the first safari park outside of Africa where you can get close to the animals from the comfort of your own car. Some of the highlights include the zebras, the wallabies in wallaby wood and the sea lion escorted cruise to Gorilla Island. And of course the magnificent lions and tigers are a must see. This really is an animal experience with a difference and you can save money by booking your tickets online. This attraction is open until the end of October.
