We loved the peaceful setting, so perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Our four dogs felt completely safe, with no escape routes at all, which was a relief. The views were stunningand the cows in the field added to the charm! It's a great spot for dog walks, with a local pub nearby and a handy Co Op just around the corner. We made good use of the hot tub and cooked a few dinners on the wood pit, enjoying the wood burner on chilly nights. Jon was always available by phone and really helpful. The cottage was just lovely!

We stayed at The Love Shack for a week with our spaniel and it was lovely. From the moment we arrived, it felt really welcoming, especially with the basket of bread, cakeand treats for our dog. The cottage's garden was perfect for relaxingand the hot tub was a definite highlight-so nice to unwind after a day out. The hosts, Caroline and Jon, were super friendly and helpful. The fridge had milk and butter waiting for us, which was a lovely touch. Overall, a fantastic stayand we'd definitely recommend it. Absolutely loved it!

We had a fantastic weekend at The Love Shack! The cottage is super cosy, with a really funky vibe that we loved. Caroline and John are brilliant hosts - nothing was too much trouble. The beds were super comfyand it's well stocked with everything we needed. The owners were friendly and helpful, though we didn't have any issues. You may have seen this amazing attraction on the BBC1 Animal Park programme. This is actually the first safari park outside of Africa where you can get close to the animals from the comfort of your own car. Some of the highlights include the zebras, the wallabies in wallaby wood and the sea lion escorted cruise to Gorilla Island. And of course the magnificent lions and tigers are a must see. This really is an animal experience with a difference and you can save money by booking your tickets online. This attraction is open until the end of October. This place is funded entirely through public donations and they rely on these vital funds. Kids will love the play barn and straw den where they can run off some energy. New for 2010 is the Aerial Runway with Jungle Climber.
