Ger Y Llan Reviews

Lovely property which was well maintained and very clean throughout. Great to have a secure and enclosed back garden for the dogs. Watching the variety of birds visiting the feeders from the living room was magical. The hosts kindly leave you feed to keep them topped up as theyre hungry ones. A great base too for visiting different parts of Angelesey. Perfect hosts too. Friendly & on hand if needed. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our holiday at Ger Y llan. our accommodation was perfect, it was home from home, we had everything we could possibly need and nothing was too much trouble for the owners, if we needed any help with anything. We highly recommend staying here, we will definitely look to book again in the future.
Belinda
Fabulous property which was central to Anglesey which made it easy to travel to anywhere on the island. The property was immaculate and very well equipped. Our little dog loved running around in the rear garden which was secure and the hot tub was very well used. Watching so many different birds on the feeders was an added bonus. The property owners really do want everybody to enjoy their time there and added very thoughtful touches. Would highly recommend.
This cottage was brilliant and was most beautiful ones we have stayed in. It is modern and the owners have also provided a lot of little extras including plenty of firewood to use on log burner, fire pit and hot tub. They also provided a little welcome pack which inc milk which was a thoughtful touch. It is so peaceful and secluded yet so close to everything. We also loved watching the planes from nearby airfield and they only fly limited hours so no disruption of a night and they didnt bother our dog either. We were very lucky with the weather and the back garden and hot tub were perfect for us to have some chill time but it also was brilliant that there was dvdssmart tvs in living room and 2 of the bedrooms as well. We were also shocked with size of front garden and enjoyed watching the birds come to the feeder as well as pheasants visiting the front garden. Nia and Huw were also perfect hosts. We didnt really need their assistance whilst away but was reassuring to know they were on hand if needed. Also one day there had been a burst pipe in area that we didnt know about not had we been affected only reason we knew was because Nia had heard so had messaged as she wanted to make sure we werent affected.

What an amazing property! Stayed here for a week with my family. The property was immaculate and so many lovely little details like the bird seed to feed the birds, binoculars, games and puzzles, as well as all the essentials you need for your stay. The hot tub was a big hit with the children and it was exciting to see the occasional jet plane fly overhead. The location was so peaceful and felt secluded yet easy to find and a great central hub for exploring the beautiful beaches and countryside of Anglesey & Snowdonia. Lots of shops and takeaways close by too! Highly recommend this property!
We had the most perfect stay at Ger Y Llan. When we arrived we were amazed at just how beautiful the cottage was, everything was so immaculate. We were greeted with a lovely welcome card, some lovely biscuits and a jar of local honey. The cottage had everything we could needwant and the owners were only a phone call away. We contacted Huw about more logs for the hot tub we had an 11 year old with us who practically lived in it! and he was there within the hour. Very pleasant man who couldnt do enough for us. The whole cottage was spotless and lots of lovely personal touches throughout. Beautiful spacious garden, with a gorgeous bird feeder outside the living room window, we couldnt believe the amount of birds that visited. The binoculars went down a treat with my dad,and he enjoyed feeding the birds with the seed tin that was left. Just lovely and so thoughtful. We could not fault one thing. We are already looking to book again for next year. Thank you Nia and Huw for such a beautiful stay, we have made some amazing memories that we will treasure forever. Mark, Sam and family xxx
We family of 6 and one dog, have just got back from a great week in this fabulous holiday cottage. It's so comfy, clean, well equipped and peaceful. Even though the weather wasn't great at times we were more than happy to chill here, playing the games left in the cupboard, watching the DVDs there, using Netflix and the fabulous hot tub. When the weather was better though my teenagers loved playing footie in the garden. It's very close to so many places on Angelsey though that we managed to get out plenty of times between the rain and see most of the island. We'd highly recommend it and the owners have thought of everything for your stay and are very easy to contact if you need anything. We'd definitely book again without hesitation.

Been putting off writing a review because I don't want the cottage to get more popular and therefore I struggle to book again! Never expected to have such a lovely holiday in Wales but it truly was. Ger Y Llan is central so it's easy to get to any coast within 1525mins drive. It's near to supermarkets and petrol too, making it so easy to have stressfree days out. The property is absolutely fantastic. Extremely clean, fresh, lovely decor it's made us book a plumber to redo our bathroom! The beds are comfy, lots of fresh towels, and even all the toolsutensils in the kitchen have been thought of. Love the dining table too. The dogs loved the garden, and it's all fenced in giving us reassurance they wouldn't wander off. The hot tub was clean, and just amazing! Enough wood for us to use every day, even when my Husband went a little over the top somedays and I felt like he was boiling us alive. We can't wait to go back.
Just back after a week at Ger Y Llan which is a lovely property located almost in the middle of Anglesey. The owners have thought of everything and we would recommend it to anyone.

Do not judge a book by its cover! The property was above and beyond the photos, which do not do the property justice. The entrance is spacious and off the B road, with large gates marking the property boundary entrance. You then go round the corner to meet the front elevation of the property, which looks like and is a large bungalow. The property has modern UPVC woodgrain effect windows and doors, with the inside property being immaculate and hosting a wealth of items in the kitchen particularly, which you would find of use, the hosts Nia and Huw are readily available via phone if needed and leave a well thought out information booklet for your arrival, together with a lovely welcome card, together with Welsh shortbread biscuits, honey, plus a bottle of milk and a bottle of white wine in the fridge. The rooms are spacious, with the main having an ensuite. this enabled my wife and I to have a bathroom each, as I used the family bathroom! The outside of the property to the rear is fully enclosed and our dog loved the size of the back garden area, which boasts a decking area with ample seating and a table, plus another smaller table further on down the garden, a barbecue and the all important eco hottub, which was large and under cover. Nia and Huw provide enough logs for a few days use if you use it in the evening and the instructions of how to use it are in their welcome pack. The location is ideal to explore the island and also to walk up an adjacent lane to view the planes taking off from RAF Mona. An Asda is some 8 minutes away, as are a Lidl and also Aldi. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ger Y Llan, and will be back, as the famous Arnie said
Very well presented and comfortable cottage in an ideal location to visit anywhere on Anglesey. The garden, patio and hot tub make it ideal for relaxing in after a day out
Jessica
A really well thoughtout holiday home with everything you need for a wonderful, relaxing break. The owners are so kind and generous and available by phone if you need anything or have any issues. Great place to stay if you enjoy a bit of plane spotting as the RAF use the airstrip next door for training at times.. can be loud but only ever for short busts and during the day. The garden is enormous and our big German Shepherd loved the space. Thoroughly recommend a stay in this lovely spot in the world. You have the whole of Anglesey easily reachable from this central location and the town of Llangefni is just a few mins away by car with an Asda and lovely little high street shops.
Joanna
This is the best house we been so far. Everything what you need is there. I'm super fussy about cleaning but was spotless! When we entered to the house first thing was! Take off your shoes
