We were at Hafod Heli to celebrate my 70th Birthday. what a great party house and venue. superb in every way and so close to the beach and dunes to give the dogs a run.The owner Kevan was so welcoming and helpful. A GREAT WEEKEND WAS HAD BY ALL.

My family stayed in this beautiful place to celebrate the New Year. The property was lovely and the rooms spacious and immaculately clean. We found some items to be broken, but it didn't affect our stay too much and just reported these to be fixed. Overall we had a fab time and ate in a few local places including the recommended place, The Oyster Catcher, which was amazing.

Some of the kitchen items need some maintenance as pointed out to the owner. In the autumn the caravan park was very quiet. We were not sure how it would be in the summer.

9 adults and 2 small dogs. A wonderful weeks stay! Location of property is excellent. Near beaches, RAF base and further a field tourist sights and amazing hikes. The house was very spacious,comfortable and modern. Ample bathrooms and good sized bedrooms. A great outdoor space to the back of the house with a good sized hot tub and plenty of seating. A well equipped kitchen, dishwasher and washing machine with a tumble dryer within the garage. Corner shop a 10 minute walk away and a retail park Morrisons, Home Bargains, Poundland, Tesco, KFC, Aldi, Argos fuel Station ect a 20 minute drive away in Holyhead. 5 car driveway if parked correctly. Heated dog kennel in the garage. Lots of activity leaflets, take away menus and guide books left by ownerprevious guests. Really good WiFi, Sky, Netflix and cardsboard games. Well stocked first aid kits available to use. Kevan was a super host. Good contact with him throughout the stay and able to sort minor issues while we were there. We will all be recommending this property to our family and friends.

A great holiday home for the family and the dogs. There is plenty of space for everyone. To have TV in 2 rooms with SKY and Netflix much appreciated. All the facilities were used, the hot tub,the barbecue and the pizza oven all a great success. The beach through the camp sites is further than 3 minutes even walking at military pace!. The position of the house on high ground commands stunning views and approaching it through the static home site is no problem at all. There is always some minor thing that raises an eyebrow but overall a holiday home very much enjoyed by the whole family.

This is a beautiful, spacious, modern, stylish property in a peaceful location within easy reach of coastal and lake walks We all slept really well in the extremely comfy beds and enjoyed home cooked meals in the lovely dining area as well as family films in the cosy lounge. The hot tub was also a lovely way to relax in the evening. The owner, Kevan is very friendly, caring, helpful and approachable. We had a lovely family at Hafod Heli

We were a group of nine, three generations. Hafod Heli was ideally situated for a family holiday. 10 minute walk to the beach, although next to a caravan tent park it was really quiet. We enjoyed watching the planes from RAF Valley which werent quiet!

We all loved our stay at hafod heli. The house is beautifully decorated and well equipped. It is only a short walk to the beach so ideal for families. The outside area is safe for dogs and children and the games and hot tub make it a really lovely space. The beds are extremely comfortable. The showers and bathrooms are of a high standard. The whole house is very clean and comfortable. It was very much appreciated that the owner made contact to see if we had any issues which we didn't We are hoping to book again next year.

This is a really great place to stay and wed love to come back again. We wish we had booked for longer as our short stay went far too quickly. The house is just gorgeous and beautifully decorated. The lovely owners who we were in touch with have thought of everything for you and there was nothing we needed or the house lacked. A beautiful place and we will definitely go back.

The house was absolutely beautiful and was the perfect space for a get away with friends. The kitchen had everything you could need so it really was a home away from home. The beds were so comfy and showers had good water pressure for a relaxing shower after a blustery walk on the beach. The location was good too just a 5 minute walk to the beach. We didn't have time to do everything we wanted to enjoy the house such as play the games or try out the pizza oven but we did manage a game of table tennis and a dip in the hot tub.

The house was perfect for our family, ourselves and 4 grown up children plus partners. The kitchen and living area was great near the back door to get into the garden that we made good use of, especially the table tennis. There was a huge hot tub but we didnt need it. The other bigger lounge seated 10 of us comfortably in the evening where it was a great area to chill out. The big tvs in each room were perfect to watch Glastonbury which was on this weekend. The numerous bathrooms had modern fixtures and were excellent, much better than many weve had in other places. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms all lovely, decoration was good and cleanliness was second to none. The pots, crockery, cutlery was plentiful and everything we needed. Nice kettle, toaster etc. There were nice touches like leaving us dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, hand soap, bin liners, a bottle of wine, milk and Welsh cakes.. the things youd normally have to pack and take. The house is accessed from the main road through Rhosneigr heading towards Valley, you take a little turning after the last house on the right. It passes through a campsite, dont let that put you off, you then access a private residents lane and the house is there. Its about a 1215 min walk to the very centre. There are places to eat we liked Sandy mount hotel and a local shop for bits and pieces. I would definitely recommend and visit again. Thank you.

Hafod Heli is a fabulous property and in a great location, so close to the beach and short drives to many other great locations on Angelsey. The house is beautifully decorated, furnished and very clean. It is well equipped and has all that you need for a stay here. The welcome pack from the owners was a nice surprise and they texted us on the first day to check everything was OK. Our family and friends all enjoyed their stay here. We had some lovely meals in the nearby restaurants and cafe's in the village, there is so much choice. We will definitely consider coming back and will be recommending the property to our friends.

Just home after a fantastic week at Hafod Heli celebrating a family birthday. Ideal property for all the family ranging from 24yr old to 80yr old all celebrating a 60th birthday together. Hafod Heli has great spaces to be together but enough space to spread out and chill out especially in the hot tub. We were lucky with the weather for competition on the table tennis table, and for enjoying the outdoor space watching the planes at RAF Valley. Super dog friendly garden, and lovely walks in the area, close to the beach. Highly recommend Hafod Heli for any family get together for creating special memories to last.

Hafod Heli was a lovely, comfortable, relaxing holiday home, which all our family of four generations, all appreciated. It was spacious inside and outside. The hot tub was loved by everyone who went in it, and the weather was so lovely that we all made use of the sun, playing with the children outside and older ones using the table tennis. With the added fun of plane watching as RAF Valley was over the road almost.

Perfect property in an excellent location. Plenty of room for 10 people. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely week in this spacious house. Location and property excellent. A very welcoming Caretaker keeping in contact with us making sure all was well. A secure garden, but please note dogs are not allowed upstairs, on beds or in one of the living rooms. we've booked again for next year. 5 stars.

What a beautiful home and in a fantastic spot. Beautiful views like artwork from the windows of the house. Lovely comfortable living room with log burner and fabulous size kitchen with plenty of room for all our party 7 of us bedrooms all lovely and v v comfy beds. Little blip on the Friday evening with heating but owner responded immediately and did everything he could to rectify the situation.

We booked at short notice for a family short break. The property is fantastic, well furnished and had everything we could have asked for. Even on a cold January weekend, the hot tub was a great way to spend the evenings. Great communication from owner too who was ready to help with any queries. We will be back.

The let is fab for a long break. Its located at the top of a caravan park which was closed during our New Year stay, but the land owner clearly has issues with cars who dont park in the property. Would benefit from a Butter dish and oven gloves, otherwise its 5 stars all round from us.

We had a fantastic holiday. All rooms very lovely and clean. Lots of space great for all the family of 10. Dog friendly. Loved kitchen area with large snug. Highly recommend staying here.

We have just returned from 6 nights stay at this beautiful property. It has everything we needed for a relaxing stay, comfy beds, and plenty of space for the whole family 6 adults 2 teenagers and 4 dogs. The hot tub added a little extra luxury the cover was heavy and probably needs replacing. Communication with the owner was great, he was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely return....what a fantastic property.

We had a great family holiday with 3 generations. It was everything we needed and was very well stocked with crockery and utensils. We loved all getting together in the lounge or the dining table. The children could be in a different room if they wanted to. We loved the location, easy walk to the village and the beaches.

Lovely house, perfect for large families, safe for children and very secure for doggies. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Highly recommended. We had a great time! A cafetiere would have been great and maybe some eggcups

We had an amazing stay at Hafod Heli the property is beautiful with lovely furniture and art work loved it there was plenty of room for 4 adults 2 infants and 4 dogs we all had are own space if needed and the garden was brilliant with lots of furniture and cushions we had a couple of glitches that Kevan the owner sorted out quickly thanks again for that Kevan I would say that the cottage just needs some TLC there was plenty of crockery and cutlery which is a help Ive been to a few different cottages and sometimes they dont have enough we would love to come back in the future Rhosniger is an amazing place

Great property for our 3 generation holiday. Plenty of space and very comfortable. Everything we needed to cook family meals and the outdoor area was secure and very private. The hot tub was well used as the weather was mixed. The front door opened into a conservatory which was brilliant for leaving sandy shoes and beach bags. We didnt really use the lounge as we spend all our time in the open plan kitchen, dining and living room. My only negative comment is that the downstairs bedroom was very warm as the window doesnt open. Perhaps a fan could be left in this room. I would definitely book a stay for us all in Hafod Heli in the future. Some great memories made here. Thankyou

Beautiful place loved seeing the red arrows and the other planes . Had a problem with the hot water while we stayed but after a message to the owner was sorted right out . Its a short walk to the beach and shops and plenty to do thats just a little drive away . Although the hot tub was lovely it could do with a few fixes or maybe a new one as you cant change some of the jet settings they were broken which is a shame as they were to powerful for some of us and you couldnt turn them down but that didnt stop us enjoying our stay at Hafod Heli . We recommend staying here and we will definitely be booking again in the future

The location of this property is excellent. You get to it through a well maintained caravan park. This was our first time staying on Anglesey, we wanted to be able to park our car and walk everywhere, and this was achievable. We had a short walk to the beach, we were lucky with the weather so went at least twice a day. Walking distance to the local shops and Mojos is definitely worth a visit, lovely food a few drinks and a gentle walk home. The chip shop was also very good. We were a little disappointed with the property, we could tell from the listing that in its day it been stunning but is currently in our opinion in need of some TLC. I spoke to the owner of the property about the issues we had and he was very responsive. The reviews we read about the garden, freezer and dishwasher were still not fixed when we stayed but having spoken to the owner and shared some photos so he understood the extent he was going to sort them ASAP along with the problems we highlighted. The garden furniture wasn't as described which was a real shame for us, we like to make the most of the outside space, the garden has a real suntrap and with 7 of us we felt it was important to be able to utilize the space to the max and all be comfortable. I do believe if the issues we experienced are sorted, then this will once again be a beautiful property in a great location with a very secure garden for children and dogs. Highly recommend a drive out to The Oyster Catcher for food, great atmosphere and a lovely walk on the beach.

Lovely spacious house which was perfect for our family of 6 adults, 1 toddler, a baby and 3 dogs. The house is great for big groups and has been tastefully decorated throughout. The kitchen was really well equipped with everything we needed although a set of Fizz flutes would have been good. Outside the garden was fully secure for our dogs and the kennel was a great addition. The garden itself is a perfect sun trap and we enjoyed the hot and playing table tennis. Located a short walk from the beach and the main village with a few shops and cafes the location was great.

We had an amazing time at this cottage and Rhosneigr, decent size well furnished double bedrooms especially the downstairs bedroom. Well maintained bathrooms. The cottage itself is very spacious with 2 lounge areas. Wonderful wood fire in the main lounge. The hot tub is huge and relaxing. Just a few snags which I think have already been highlighted in previous reviews is that the Freezer needed a major defrost, the cookeroven and outside bbq could do with a deep clean. We did have to rewash crockery as some looked like they had been put away dirty but I don't think this is the owners fault. Overall great location near the beach and small high street of shops and eateries. Would really recommend sandy mount house for a meal and the oyster catcher which is on an amazing dune beach both short distances away and walkable in more pleasant weather. Newborough forest and beach is amazing for everyone, such a lovely place where the forest meets the beach, and the walk to the lighthouse its well worth the views and walk. I would definitely return and visit other parts of Anglesey.

We loved the house, it was beautiful and in a great setting. Fantastic for our party of 4, we had 2 bedrooms unused but like big spaces. Great for the dogs, close to town, great pubs, shops, places to eat snd beaches and walks on your doorstep, house is beautifuly decorated. Comfy beds. Would highly recommended and you won't be disappointed. Garden is also great for the dogs. Couple of things for the owner to note which they probably font know about. Freezer needs defrosting as top shelf is unusable. No bin bags in any bins cooker needs a good clean. BBQ outside needs a deep clean. That said there minor snagging issues and probably unknown to the owner, and should not takeaway its a fantastic property. Would 100 go back we loved it and would highly recommended it. Beautiful rugged beach with loads of walking routes. Brilliant views over RAF Valley. Plenty of room for the whole family, facilities top drawer, comfortable and welcoming. Ideally situated for staying in but also as a base for exploring.

We had a fabulous week and the house was lovely. I have already raised with the owner that the crockery and glassware need a review but that is only a minor issue that did not distract from a lovely break. Even with a raging storm the house was warm and welcoming. Would love to come back.

We enjoyed the break ,the property was exactly what we wanted . to enjoy my 80th birthday with my family.

Just arrived home today after our weeks stay at Hafod Heli. We have stayed in Anglesey many times but this is one of the nicest homes we have stayed in. Super comfortable beds, lovely showers, so much space and the snug was great to settle in with the log burner and the big tv in the evenings. Great location too, it was lovely just to be able to walk into the centre for great cafes and restaurants and our dogs loved the beach! Hope to come back at some point, thank you

Gorgeous property. Everything was perfect. Great set out for us as a family, and our dogs. Near the beach, hot tub. We all loved it and can't wait to go back.

The house was as expected. .fabulous. Beautifully furnished. The garden furniture sadly did not reflect the photograph and some was in need of replacing. Plus, this was the first time ever we had an extra cost added for the use of the hot tub. Never, ever had that before always been covered in the cost of the property we have rented. However, this did not stop us having a fab time. Almost everything we required was catered for I did have to purchase some oven gloves but who cares its a minor thing lovely location for beaches, pubs and cafes and a short walk into Rhosneigr. We had the best family time , all 9 of us, staying at Hafod Heli. Thank you

We had a fantastic stay at Hafod Heli. The house is stunning and has everything you could imagine! The location is great, a short walk to the beach and centre of the town. Also, great for our children to watch the planes at RAF Valley! The garden and outdoor furniture could use a bit of TLC, but the space is great and private. We will return!

An extremely well laid out property. Plenty of room for everyone. The 2 large televisions were great for the older and younger generations. Kitchen had plenty of utensils, although a knife sharpener would have been useful. Great range of glasses, plates and large mugs. Well equipped with domestic appliances although the dishwasher was falling away from its housing when we arrived and got worse after a couple of days. We did a temporary fix and reported to Lorraine.Hot tub was great, however some jets were not working and the filter cover was floating around in the hot tub when we arrived. The gas bbq was really good but we had to clean it before use has it was dirty when we arrived. The locks to the dog house,back door and front door could do with some attention has difficult to lock.These were minor issues and did not detract from a lovely time we had in the house but thought it would be helpful for you to know.
