Lovely house. Really warm and cosy and very well appointed with everything you need. The open plan design was great for spending time with the family. Great location with loads to do in the area.

This is a spacious, wellequipped property with plenty of room for our party of 8 adults, with lovely views over the surrounding countryside from the top floor lounge. Unfortunately, there are some issues, which could easily be addressed, which prevent this from being a 5 star review. The smaller bedroom on the ground floor does not have adequate storage to allow people to unpack one hanging rail and a shelf at head height are not sufficient. Bedside cabinets with drawers or cabinet instead of tables, a chest of drawers in the corner and a shelf in the bathroom would be useful. Also, as previous reviewers have noticed the fridge is too small for 8 people. Items on the top shelf of the dishwasher do not get cleaned and the tumble dryer does not work unless you hold the door closed impractical. More tea towels and toilet rolls would be appreciated as well. Finally, although we enjoyed the biscuits in the welcome pack, it would have been nice to have some tea and coffee to go with them. We would happily award 5 stars if these issues were addressed.

There were mouse droppings in the downstairs toilet room. One of the bedrooms was flooded and obviously not been checked before we arrived. The accommodation is for 8 people Too few dishwasher tablets 4 for 4 days Too few toilet rolls 1 for each bathroom Seating area too few seats for 8 people All these issues had been mentioned in the visitors book but obviously not taken any notice of.

Yep, just 3 people and all this space! The place is great, wonderful space and wellappointed. We loved the living area the most. It was nice to have a few essentials left for us but could include saltpepper. We are at the midland lovely and oyster catcher ace. Thanks!

This was a little gem of a find for myself, partner, our 3 older boys and girlfriends. The purpose was for us to have quality time together. Everything you need is there for you. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, every couple had their own bathroom, a wonderful welcome pack and the added bonus of a hot tub. The pub next door was so friendly and welcoming by the staff and locals. Unfortunately we werent able to try the local fish and chips as they had none during our stay. I hate writing anything negative but I am only saying these things as I would like to know if it was my rental. We had 4 rolls of toilet paper for a 3 night stay for 8 4 of which males, if Id of known we had to bring our own I would have. Also I feel it was clean but could have cleaner, just little things like stains on sofa, dust under beds and behind tv unit. But it isnt a big deal it was just that I noticed sorry! and I wanted to mop on leaving, but was unable to locate anything to clean the floor. I dont want to end this review on a negative so I will say we had an absolutely amazing time, and I would most definitely recommend and book again. Thank you so much

The property itself is beautiful, but in need of some TLC Walls are ready for painting Setteeis in need of a deep clean or at least lots of throws on it and not the comfiest Still got location is good to travel around and see everything Log fire is a nice touch Didn't have the Jacuzzi feel the fee is too high Overall, a great stay in a lovely house in a great location The views from the Vellex windows are amazing.

Lovely chilled weekend party of 8. Fabulous house for us to all get together. Pub was great and very friendly. Missed out on chips as had none till the 30th! Rhosneigr Beach is a must do as it's beautiful. Hot tub was an additional plus.

We were two families staying in No. I Sardis Chapel for a week. We had a lovely stay. Thank you for the really lovely welcome pack, which included bread and milk as well as crisps, red wine, chocolate biscuits and Welsh cakes. All this was a fabulous touch, which was very much appropriate. Unfortunately, there were a few things that were not quite up to scratch for a large, fairly expensive property for eight. I will simply list them for ease Dishwasher not working properly. It did not clean items thoroughly. All items needed to be hand washed beforehand. Perhaps the filters need cleaning? Fridge is far too small when accommodation sleeps eight people. Tumble drier was not working. It did not power in at all possibly a main power switch somewhere but certainly not obvious. Info pack refers to blue folder of appliance information but the blue folder was missing. Horrible, unsightly stains on sofa. Not enough comfortable seating for eight adults in the lounge and only seven seats in garden. Crockery and cutlery there is not a full, matching set of eight of anything, although its possible to cobble together enough for a meal time. Only one pizza baking tray, so pizza needed to be cooked in many shifts for eight people. Handle is extremely stiff and difficult to use on the door for larger bedroom on 1st floor. Same bedroom also has a loose door handle hanging off in ensuite. No toilet brush in family bathroom on 1st floor. A pack of dogs barking and howling near to the property at weird times, which set one of our dogs off. However, these dogs are not associated with this property and they stopped quickly each time. Maybe some holiday kennels nearby? Not all these things negatively impacted our holiday but they are definitely worth addressing for future guests or if we were to return. All in all a good stay. We enjoyed exploring Anglesey from this great base. Thank you.

Our yearly adventure loved the area pub is fab and winner of bingo! Fish and chip shop sells everything!! Accommodation was lovely suggestions we need a bigger fridge! Definitely not big enough.

We had a lovely time. Sykes were not easy to deal with as you know. The property is great, the top floor is amazing. Everything was there that we needed and more.

The Hot Tub was immaculate and regularly maintained. Loved the area and the actual home was lovely... BUT This was not a cheap holiday so I did not expect to find chipped cups, plates and dishes we purchased more, pans not really cleanold. I expected more than one cheap small toilet roll in each toilet and 1 bin bag. There were only 7 outdoor seats for 8 people we purchased more. The sofa was really badly stained. The kitchen tap constantly dripped. The bathroom shower did not flow away, it took quite a while. Under beds and sofa were disgusting odd sock and bits of food as well as dust. Overall this was well below the standard of other holiday homes we have stayed in and needs a good clean. Before the holiday Sykes were horrendous to get in touch with, cost us a fortune on the phone.

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Only marked down very slightly on cleanliness as it could be a little better, and some of the walls need a lick of paint to get rid of the marks. House itself was superb with bags of room in all the bedrooms, and a great living area upstairs with tremendous views. Wildlife and countryside walks right on your doorstep. Very quiet location but close enough to decent beaches to get there in minutes by car. Highly recommend!

The best part was all the spare and comfy beds and is very close to lovely activities and land. We will come each year.

We loved the open plan area upstairs, and all the bedrooms were spacious and was fantastic to have own bathrooms. As the house sleeps 8 maybe a bigger fridge in the kitchen and an airfare to help with space in the oven when cooking. Garden could do with some tlc, shaded area or umberrella canopy, plants or ornaments to make it look more appealing to sit in we had mist so couldnt see the mountains on the mainland, also would recommend a small fridge downstairs as its a fair way up and down those stairs! Luckily we had a camping fridge which we kept filling up! We were also quite alarmed that the hot tub guy arrived well before we checked out, we were upstairs finalising bin runs etc and he didnt shout up or knock? If we have the place till 10am I would expect it just to be accessible to us Other than that, we loved the pub and locals next door, it was ideal for what we wanted and would recommend to others for future and maybe return ourselves sometime

We have had a brilliant weekend, here at Sardis Capel. A good space for a girly weekend, swimming in the sea, walking, and having lovely home cooked meals here.

We loved the accommodation and location. The house was clean and well kept and had everything we could want except potato masher but we got round this. The pub next door is fabulous a real community hub and the walk along the coast to the woodland area is perfect for the dog, a perfect house and location for our family holiday to Anglesey. Perfect place to explore the island, which we love. Some feedback which might be useful but certainly isnt a complaint. The front door sticks and doesnt fully open. The dishwasher didnt seem to work, it left the plates dirty the pull down bit where the tablet goes is missing so it could be this,

The property was lovely, the area was amazing. The hot tub was lovely and clean and nice to use,we felt the cottage could have been cleaner, there were dead flies on the windowsill behind the TV, and also cobwebs , there was also a previous occupants dirty socks in the ground floor bedroom so obviously not a thorough clean had been done, the oven was quite dirty and needed a good clean.The property was well equipped but more fridge space for a group of 8 would be better and more glasses for general use as 2 wine glasses and 3 champagne flutes not sufficient for 8 people!! We felt the property would benefit from a few homely touches such as a chair in the bedrooms and a few pictures We would return to the area again as Anglesey was a fabulous place to visit and would go to Sardis Chapel again but would hope the comments are taken on viewed as it was a lovely property with plenty of space for a large mixed group

We have really enjoyed our stay. Lovely cottage, lots of places to have some lovely walks. Cottage was well equipped, clean with lots of space. We pulled the corner sofas out to make extra space to sit. Downstairs at night was very warm, even after turning the heating down. Would recommend.

Lovely stay in Sardis chapel 1 3 generations family and 2 dogs Accommodation is very well thought out with each room having ensuiteprivate bathroom. Would have welcomed option if possible to turn 1 bed into twins Lobby area tiled floors all other floors wooden and stairs carpeted, made easy to keep clean if brush provided Lovely large area as enter property to take off boots, hang coats with underfloor heating to dry everything off. Furniture is all good quality and beds very comfortable. Kitchen area has all equipment you would want for self catering holiday. Although seating is very comfortable you would struggle if there were more than 5 people to sit on sofas. Ideally additional comfy chairs are required as sleeps 8 Private parking for number of vehicles. Great position with easy access to walks from property and short drive away to many more beaches attractions. Would suggest 1 soft broomhoover to sweep floors especially as enter property 2 more than 1 bin bag 3 bigger supply logs 4 better control of heating especially downstairs in bedrooms very warm and difficult to turn it down 5 additional comfortable seating in lounge area However these are all minor points and we had great break, were very impressed by standard of the property.

We had an excellent holiday in a lovely comfortable cottage, and the dogs barking mentioned in other comments didnt bother us, even with 3 babies sleeping at different times of the day. Just a few things that would have been helpful to us . A sweeping brush would have been really helpful with all the wooden and tiled floors . Directions on how to recycle would be helpful we eventually found a recycling point at Aldi as no recycling collection is available at the cottage, but that is how residents recycle, we couldnt even find anything on the internet. . The first bedroom on the ground floor needs some kind of furniture to enable bags to be unpacked. Theres a clothes rail in the cupboard but just one high shelf so nowhere really to put clothes or toiletries except the floor.
