Ty Mawr Farm is a superb four-bedroom detached farmhouse, nestled in the idyllic village of Penmynydd near Llanfairpwllgwyngyll on the Isle of Anglesey. Enjoying an elevated position with exceptional countryside views and a spacious interior with charming original features, Ty Mawr Farm is a wonderful setting for a group or family of eights getaway.

Ample off-road parking greets you on arrival, so you can unload your bags with ease, before finding the pretty front garden with seating and hot tub, perfect for indulgent dips as you soak up the breath-taking views on offer. Be welcomed into the sitting room, where you can fire up the woodburning stove and kick-back and relax on the plush seating in front of your favourite show on the TV after a day of exploring.

Rustle up your best dishes in the well-equipped kitchen/diner, ready to enjoy over celebratory bottles of fizz at the dining table for eight. The dining area also features a small snug space where you can relax with your favourite book.

There is also a utility room and cloakroom on this floor for your convenience. Climb the pine staircase up to the first floor, where you can wash away the day with a soak in the bath or refreshing shower, before retiring for the night in one of four well-appointed bedrooms, two king-size, both with their own private en-suite shower rooms, and two twin bedrooms.

Penrhyn Castle is a neo-Norman castle is located in the stunning Gwynedd region of Wales. The castle will appeal to those who enjoy sites of historical interest as well as to families looking to enjoy a fun day out. The Castle is in very good condition and guided tours are on offer. Don't miss a look at the grand hall with its exquisite collection of paintings or the Victorian Kitchen which gives amazing insight into the running of the Castle. Other highlights include the Servants Rooms and the one ton slate bed which was originally made for Queen Victoria.

Located in the North of Wales with a spectacular setting high above Colwyn Bay this is a lovely zoo which makes an excellent family day out.  Highlights include the Chimp Encounter, Penguin Parades, Bear Falls and the Children's Farm.  The setting is perfect for walking around and you can take in the superb scenery, roam the wooded pathways and relax on the grassy slopes.  There are many rare and endangered species to see and learn about including the Snow Leopards and the Red Pandas not to mention the Sumatran Tigers. You can also buy the experience of being a zoo keeper for a day, either for yourself or as a gift.
