Anyone interested in history won’t want to miss the Bronze Age burial cairns of Tair Carn Uchaf, 8 miles, and the unique Roman gold mine at Dolaucothi, 17 miles.
Carreg Cennen Castle, one of the most famous and picturesque in Wales, is 6 miles away. For a little retail therapy, head to Llandeilo, 4 miles, or Ammanford, 8 miles.
