Arrive at this stable cottage and drop your bags off before heading straight out to explore. Coed Trallwmn Mountain Bike and Visitor Centre is just 20 miles from your door so hop on your bike and ride the day away. Large windows let light flood inside creating a tranquil feel at this home from home. The comfortable sofas invite you to put your feet up as you laze away in front of the TV or gaze across the fields and valleys beyond. There is plenty of room for all hands on deck to make light work of mealtimes in the kitchen/diner. Gather at the island and utilize all of the fantastic space to cook up a storm. Plate up at the table which comfortably seats six and enjoy dining together. There is a handy downstairs WC but head to the first floor to find the family shower room.

The three bedrooms can also be found on this floor, the spacious king-size with en-suite shower room, 4ft queen sized double room and snug single all invite you to switch off and unwind. Wake up and discover the indoor hot tub, shared with other properties on-site, to start your day with a relaxing soak.

Enjoy sunny days on the lawn, also a good spot for four-legged friends to stretch their legs and fire up the BBQ in the evening for a tasty feast to enjoy. In addition to washing and storage facilities for mountain bikes, there is ample off-road parking at this property.

Dinefwr Park and Castle is the perfect place to come if you like the great outdoors. These stunning ruins are one of the areas most iconic landmarks and are surrounded by breathtaking scenery and wildlife of all descriptions. There is also a 17th century mansion to explore with grand rooms and wonderful exhibits of paintings and tapestries. The gardens feature amazing floral displays and there is also a delightful Tea Room. Children can let of steam on the adventure playground.
Cantref Adventure Farm - LD3 8LR

Cantref Adventure Farm offers hours of indoor and outdoor fun for the whole family. Inside there is a huge soft play area with a separate area for toddlers as well as ball pools, climbing frames, slides and chutes. The Cannon balls are a big hit with children of all ages. New for 2010 is the Badgers quest interactive maze. Outside there is a play area, large boating lake with paddle boats, nature trails with clues and quizzes and an agility course. At only £29.00 for a family of 4 the park offers outstanding value for money.
National Botanic Garden of Wales - SA32 8HN

When the weather is nice this attraction is perfect as you can wander around and admire the superb range of exotic trees and shrubs.  They look different at different times of the year but one of the most popular times to see them is in Autumn.  With various events throughout the year such as Apple Weekend there is always something new to experience.  You can watch a 90 second film about this attraction on their website which is excellent.
Merlin Hill Centre - SA67 8BP

Merlin Hill Centre is a working dairy farm located deep in the Carmarthenshire countryside. Although not a petting farm the farm is still very family friendly with plenty of fun activities to keep children happy. The farm has a good sized play area and plenty of picnic tables as well as a Farmyard Heritage Centre where visitors can learn all about Welsh farm life and about the mystical Legend of Merlin. Get there early if you want to watch the cows being milked!
