We had a lovely stay at this place! The house is charming and in a great spot, close to a nice pub and some good restaurants. The garden is massive and fully enclosed, which was perfect for our dog. The hot tub was a hit with everyone. It's ideal for families like ours (2 adults, 3 kids aged 11-15), but not so much if you have mobility issues because of all the stairs and slopes.

The place is full of character, with authentic features that give it a cosy feel, yet it's been beautifully decorated and kept up to date. We had another wonderful week at the Conwy Valley Manor House. The four bedrooms and two bathrooms, along with the massive kitchen and snug area, give loads of indoor space for two families to enjoy. Plus, the huge outdoor space with a hot tub and fire pit is fantastic on a summer evening! There are plenty of local walks in and around the valley for all abilitiesand both Parc Snowdonia and Conwy Castle are just a few miles away too.

A spacious property with a very large, enclosed, walled garden in a beautiful location. Within easy reach of many activities and attractions. The hot tub in the garden was much enjoyed. For us as a family group of six, we found the limited supply of hot water ( over which we had no control ) to be an issue which we brought to the owners attention. The smell of boiler fuel in the property was also an issue.

We spent a lovely weekend at the property to celebrate a 40th birthday and it was truly wonderful! The place felt really warm and welcoming, with decorations done to an incredibly high standard. It was the perfect base for exploring the stunning North Wales coastline.

What a gorgeous property! It's so spacious and comfortable. The hot tub was a fantastic plus and the views were simply amazing. The local pub, Tal y Cafn, has great food and is only a 10-minute walk or a 2-minute drive from the property. Conwy and Llandudno are both a short drive away too. We also went to Zipworld and Betws y Coed, which took us about 20 minutes. The Fforest Coaster at Zipworld was brilliant! Bodnant Gardens is definitely worth a visit, although it's best on a dry day. We loved our stay and would absolutely visit again.

Highlights include the Chimp Encounter, Penguin Parades, Bear Falls and the Children's Farm. The setting is perfect for walking around and you can take in the superb scenery, roam the wooded pathways and relax on the grassy slopes. There are many rare and endangered species to see and learn about including the Snow Leopards and the Red Pandas not to mention the Sumatran Tigers. You can also buy the experience of being a zoo keeper for a day, either for yourself or as a gift.

The amazing site allows visitors to explore the copper mines which are thought to date back to the Bronze Age but were only discovered in 1987 during a landscaping project. The Seaquarium in Rhyl is a fantastic choice for a family day trip offering the chance to meet strange and exotic marine life from all around the world. The sea animals here come from the depths of the Amazon, Pacific & Indian Oceans as well as from around UK shores. Slimy Eels, scary Sharks and creepy Piranhas are all there to be seen as well as beautiful and elegant Rays. The site also has a café and a gift shop where children can pick up a souvenir. It's actually the only attraction in North Wales to be shortlisted for this prestigious award. Located in the Snowdonia region there are many rides and activities including Jungle Boat Adventure, Den Building, Green Dragon Roller Caoster, Treetop Towers and the BareFoot Trail. Kids of all ages will love it here and we think it's excellent value as well.
