Our stay at Valley View Farmhouse was truly lovely. The cottage had everything we needed, kept warm and cosy throughout. The breathtaking views really added to the experienceand the hot tub was spotless, spaciousand perfectly positioned to soak in the tranquillity. The owners were so friendly and welcoming without being overbearing. It's in a peaceful rural spot but still close enough to visit Conwy, Betws y Coedand Llandudno easily. We'd definitely come back and recommend Hide!

We loved the peaceful spot, perfect if you want to escape the crowds but still be close to the holiday towns - just half an hour away. The weather was fab, so we enjoyed the terrace and amazing views all day long. The drive up at night is a bit tricky, but honestly, the view makes it worth it!

The location is just breathtaking, especially sitting in the hot tub overlooking the valley - such a treat. The lane up to the house is quite steep, but honestly, it's totally worth it when you arrive. There's loads to see nearby too - we explored the coast, Angleseyand even did some walking around Conwy. Just got back from this lovely cottage in Wales, celebrating my daughter's 21st and visiting Zip World sites. The place is stunning, super cosyand really clean. It's a bit remote, but that's exactly what we wanted - peaceful with amazing views. Beds are so comfyand the hot tub was a real highlight! Our medium dog had no trouble staying put in the courtyard, which was great. Definitely recommend and would stay again, no question!

Located in the North of Wales with a spectacular setting high above Colwyn Bay this is a lovely zoo which makes an excellent family day out. Highlights include the Chimp Encounter, Penguin Parades, Bear Falls and the Children's Farm. The setting is perfect for walking around and you can take in the superb scenery, roam the wooded pathways and relax on the grassy slopes. There are many rare and endangered species to see and learn about including the Snow Leopards and the Red Pandas not to mention the Sumatran Tigers. You can also buy the experience of being a zoo keeper for a day, either for yourself or as a gift.

Kids of all ages will love it here and we think it's excellent value as well.

The sea animals here come from the depths of the Amazon, Pacific & Indian Oceans as well as from around UK shores. Slimy Eels, scary Sharks and creepy Piranhas are all there to be seen as well as beautiful and elegant Rays. The site also has a café and a gift shop where children can pick up a souvenir. St Winefride's Well - CH8 7PN

St Winefride's Well in Flintshire is described at one of the 7 wonders of Wales and is shrouded in mystery and intrigue. Legend has it that the well first erupted at the spot where Caradog cut off the nuns head with his sword.
