Great service

We had a fantastic week at Bodweni Hall with 24 of us celebrating together. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax or have their own funand the table fit us all comfortably. The weather wasn’t perfect, but we still enjoyed lake and river activities, especially swimming, which was a real highlight. We’d definitely go back!
Emma

We had a brilliant time at this spacious house near Bala. With so many bedrooms and bathrooms, it was perfect for our big family of 22. The private lake and water sports gear kept everyone happy, from the kids to the adults. The indoor games room and playground were a bonusand the large kitchen and dining area made meal times easy and relaxed. We did miss some comfy communal seating indoors, but overall, it was a fantastic getaway for all ages!

Fantastic spot by the lake to kick back and soak up the scenery. Perfect for big gatherings with mates!

We were really happy here and plan to come back in a few years. It’s a spacious, comfortable property nestled in lovely grounds with plenty of amenities like snooker, table tennis, pedalos and canoes. We enjoyed walking around the grounds too. The kitchen was generally well equipped and definitely big enough for a large group. If you filled every bed, though, you couldn’t all eat at the dining table; we managed 21, but 24 would probably be the limit. The onsite caretaker is very helpful and does his best to respond quickly!
Sarah
Thank you for an incredible stay! The location is simply stunning, with amazing views and a calmness that surrounds this property. We had great fun on the pedalos and kayaks on the lakeand the river was stunning. The surrounding forest and walks were hugely popular with both the children and adults alike. Being a multigenerational family, everything suited all of us perfectly; the kids especially loved the cinema. There was lots of cooking equipment and spaceand the place felt warm and inviting. The comfy beds and great showers/baths made it even better. Perfect for exploring Bala Lake and Barmouth!
Helen
What an epic week at Bodweni! We enjoyed walks, the hot tub, skimming stones, BBQs, boating, Christmas Lunch, two Birthdays, Pancake Day, Quiz Nightsand live music. In February. The facilities were great and equipped with everything we needed for all ages throughout the week. Quiet and comfy bedrooms provided just the right balance. There was fabulous space to be together and also find a bit of peace. The play park was awesomeand they even had life jackets and crockery for little ones. A special thanks to the really helpful Mel, the groundskeeper. All 27 of us and 2 dogs can’t wait to come back & repeat this fun experience.
Jamie
We had a fantastic time at Bodweni Hall! The property is just stunning both inside and out. We caught some of the World Cup matches in the cinema room, had a few games of pool in the games roomand relaxed in the hot tub while soaking in the amazing views. There was so much to do! The place is nice and clean with a really well stocked kitchen. If you're looking at this review and thinking about booking, we would definitely say go for it! It's worth every penny, you won't regret it!
James
We just got back from a week at Bodweni Hall celebrating a 60th Birthday. The house is wonderful and the location is ideal. The weather wasn't on our side (very wet) but the games room, cinema and all that were enough to keep us entertained. We had one sunny day and the pedalos on the lake were used and really enjoyed. The hot tub was such decadence! Even the rain didn't put us off! Melvyn, the Groundsman, was brilliant and always ready to help with any little problem. Would definitely recommend.
