Garth Farmhouse Reviews

Jamie
We had a lovely week here! The location suited us perfectly, with Eryri National Park just a stone’s throw away and Llyn Tegid only about 10 minutes by car. The cottage was spacious and comfortable, with one lounge featuring an electric fire and the other a real fireplace-great for cosy evenings. The hot tub was a real highlightand although there wasn’t a built-in BBQ, we brought our own fire pit which worked brilliantly. Overall, a fantastic base for exploring the countryside, we’d definitely come back!
Emma
Had an amazing week here with the family and our dog! The farmhouse is absolutely beautiful and nestled in such a peaceful spot. Plenty of room both inside and outside, which was perfect for the kids and the dog. We loved the walks right from the door or nearbyand unwinding in the hot tub after a busy day was a real treat. Definitely coming back soon!
Emma
We loved this cosy cottage, nestled near Bala Lakes - such a peaceful spot! The village nearby had everything we needed for shopping. Stunning views from the place and just a short stroll to the steam train station. Perfect for dog walks!

This place is really lovely, set in such a pretty spot. The house was super spacious and spotless, with everything we needed. The garden’s so secure, we didn’t worry about the dog at all. Loved the hot tub-so relaxing after long walks. Definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay here! The place is super peaceful, perfect if you're looking to escape the hustle. The two lounge areas with TVs meant the kids could watch movies while the adults relaxed. They were thrilled to have TVs in every bedroom. The shower was a lifesaver after a long day of exploring. Only thing is, the location is a bit out of the way - the bigger supermarkets are a bit of a drive, though there's a local co-op in Bala which helps. We also went to Tesco in Porthmadog on a day out, so all in all, a good trip!
Emma
Charming place, would definitely return soon

We loved this cosy little cottage set in such a peaceful spot. Being on a working farm was a real treatand the views were absolutely breathtaking. The Roberts family were so welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The hot tub was a lovely bonus after a day exploring. Perfect for our dog with secure outside spaceand the nearby village was charming. A great base for visiting Snowdonia, Bala Lakeand Barmouth. Definitely coming back!

Overall, pretty happy with the work! The only small gripe is that the toilet’s a bit tight against the wall, maybe about 3 inches. Slightly repositioning it and the sink would make a big difference.
Charlie
We booked this place for a mountain biking adventure and it was just what we needed-quiet but close enough to the trails. The cottage, tucked away behind a farm, had plenty of room and all the essentials. Bala was only a 10-minute taxi rideand the local pub/shop combo was handy. Everyone was really friendly too, which made it even better!
Emma
Beautiful farmhouse, ideal for a peaceful, relaxing getaway in the UK.

We had a lovely stay here with our two dogs. The place is super spacious and has everything we needed, including a hot tub that was perfect for relaxing. The garden is totally private and secure, which meant the dogs could run freely without us stressing. The kitchen was well-equipped, ideal for cooking up local goodies. We mostly ate in and enjoyed the range oven. Can't wait to come back! Definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway.

What a lovely stay! The place was spotless and super comfy, really felt like a home away from home. The hot tub was a hit with everyone. Hosts are nearby and so friendly, making sure we had everything. Plus, those blackberries on the way up - yum! Can't wait to come back xx

We stayed at this beautiful farmhouse and it had everything we needed! The log fire was lushand the hot tub was a fantastic bonus!! We had a lovely holiday here. Unfortunately, we did experience a powercut because of the bad weather, but we got in touch with the owners. They brought us loads of logs to keep us warm and kept us updated about the power situation! It was an amazing weekend!!
