To get to Encil Clyd, if driving, take the A494 road which leads directly to Bala. For rail travellers, the nearest train station is Ruabon, from where you can take a taxi or bus to Bala.

The Wharf is situated in the peaceful market town of Llangollen - now part of a World Heritage Site.
