Along the coast there are some lovely beaches, including Dinas Dinlle (5 miles) with its wide expanse of sandy shore and water sports opportunities. Crossing the Menai Strait, you can visit Anglesey with highlights including Plas Newydd, Pili Palas Nature World and Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens, all within 13 miles.

If mountain biking or hiking are your thing, the towering mountains of Snowdon and Glyder Fawr are accessible within 15 miles. Other local attractions include the Inigo Jones Slate Works, Airworld Aviation Museum and Bryn Bras Castle, all within 7 miles.

Upstairs, the relaxing bedroom sits beneath a sloping ceiling and is furnished with a stylish double bed and beautiful views across the river. Also on this floor is a cosy library snug with two comfortable chairs, offering the perfect spot to unwind while admiring the river and surrounding countryside.

For added entertainment, there is a separate room with a table football table. Outside, the river trickles past the garden, with chances to spot wildlife and take in the tranquil surroundings.

Located in the North of Wales with a spectacular setting high above Colwyn Bay this is a lovely zoo which makes an excellent family day out.  Highlights include the Chimp Encounter, Penguin Parades, Bear Falls and the Children's Farm.  The setting is perfect for walking around and you can take in the superb scenery, roam the wooded pathways and relax on the grassy slopes.  There are many rare and endangered species to see and learn about including the Snow Leopards and the Red Pandas not to mention the Sumatran Tigers.
