Pen Goppa Reviews

Nicola
We really enjoyed our stay at Pen Goppa. The cottage itself was lovely and comfortable and suited our needs for the week with our 3 dogs. I am not sure if there were 6 adults there would be quite enough room, there is only 1 bathroom and the kitchen is quite small if you planned to cook. The garden was beautiful and has amazing views, a lovely peaceful spot.
Claire
The cottage is spacious and atmospheric. It feels remote but is just a few miles away from pubs and other facilities to stop one feeling isolated. The garden is attractive and secure - our dog loved it.
Stephen
Location superb, secluded private garden which the kids loved for hide n seek. Rooms were comfortable and facilities good. Some of the storage areas could do with a bit of a sort and tidy. But didnâ??t effect our stay and already looking for next year
David
Cottage was wonderfully presented with everything needed for perfect break. Well located for visiting everywhere on the peninsula.

The cottage location was idyllic and the facilities great. The outdoor space was lovely there were even heaters to allow you to sit out when the evenings got cold. We also enjoyed the games room playing pool and table tennis. The cottage itself was clean and really well finished with a great blend of modern and old world charm. We arrived to a lovely welcome basket and felt really happy and relaxed on our stay, would definitely recommend.

I really wanted to rate this property 1 !!! Simply to stop anyone else from booking here! I have to say it was perfect though and rate it 5 all round! We had the most wonderful few days and could have stopped longer if possible! But that wretched work business gets in the way. From the moment we walked in everything seemed just right. The beautiful garden was enclosed and meant our two dogs , one of them a pup, could play outside to their heartâ??s content, our dog hasnâ??t moved since we got home, so worn out is he! The addition of the little games room is brilliant and we enjoyed darts and pool competitions between us. The kitchen is well equipped and everything was spotless. The lovely dining table was great for family game nights after a day at the beach! This is probably the nicest and best cottage we have stayed in and will hopefully return one day soon! Thank you to the owners for letting us stay
David
We had an amazing week at Pen Goppa after being let down at last minute by another property. Steve was the perfect host, and I believe we were his first guests. All I can say is a big thank you for enabling my family and I to have a lovely stay. The cottage is adorable, with every need catered for. I would love to stay again in future, but l fear that when others cotton on to its beauty, it may be difficult to book. Thank you Steve and family, youâ??ve got a gem here!

Greenwood Forest Park - LL55 3AD

This attraction is really something special and has reached the finals of the "Best Family Day Out" category in the National Tourism Awards for Wales.  It's actually the only attraction in North Wales to be shortlisted for this prestigious award. Located in the Snowdonia region there are many rides and activities including Jungle Boat Adventure, Den Building, Green Dragon Roller Caoster, Treetop Towers and the BareFoot Trail.  Kids of all ages will love it here and we think it's excellent value as well.
Ribride - LL59 5DE
about 29 Miles

An adventure boat company in the heart of Wales. Whether it's adrenaline fueled fun, or a relaxing river tour, you and your family will want to book up with Rib Ride. Ride a 'RIB' boat on the Menai Strait or take a Bear Grylls adventure boat tour. Very highly reviewed on Trip Advisor. Tours for bridges and swells, puffin and seals, castle and islands and more.
