Head to Dolgellau (10 miles), a town at the foothills of Cader Idris, known for its fascinating traditional music scene and vibrant annual folk festival. From here, you can also follow the River Mawddach as far as the estuary via the beloved Mawddach Trail.

The trail leads all the way to Morfa Mawddach (18 miles) and the seaside town of Barmouth (19.5 miles). In the opposite direction, admire the Rhiwagor Waterfall (14 miles) on your way to Lake Vyrnwy (14 miles), following the Giants of Vyrnwy Trail along the water’s spectacular edge.

This handsome, stone-built country lodge sits on the grounds of a larger estate, offering privacy and peaceful surroundings. Combining period design features with contemporary charm, the property is stunning throughout.

Step into the kitchen, a well-equipped space for holiday meal preparation. There’s a breakfast bar ready to host your mealtimes, with plenty of outdoor dining space available as well.

From here, move into the inviting lounge, complete with a plush velvet sofa, a wood burner, and a Smart TV. You’ll make lifelong memories while unwinding in this space, whether engaging in great conversation or rewatching a favourite film with the flames flickering before you.

A downstairs WC completes this floor. Take the stairs to the first floor to discover a spacious king-size bedroom with garden views and a designated dressing area.

The room also boasts en-suite facilities with a refreshing shower to invigorate you before a day’s adventuring. Mature flora and established greenery await in the beautiful garden, accessible via the kitchen.
