The Wing Reviews

The only set back toilets and bed rooms no locks
Lovely cottage and would recommend but it was let down by some basics missing no can opener, no welcome pack explaining how things worked and lack of maintenance on the hot tub. Overall thoroughly enjoyed it and would return
Lovely property in a great location for Bangor on Dee races. Excellent facilities with comfy beds and well equipped kitchen. Fabulous garden for the dogs to run and an added perk of a dog park. Would highly recommend.
Had a fabulous stay at The Wing, 6 adults and 2 dogs, fantastic enclosed garden with plenty of space the dogs to run round. The hot tub was a great hit, lovely and warm and very clean. Brilliantly equipped kitchen, with a welcome edition of the airfryer, great space for enjoying meals together or a second sitting room if anyone wants a quite time. All our party agreed it's the nicest property we've stayed at and are definately looking to book again next year. Thank you Stanley for being a courteous owner and pointing us in the right direction for the bins.
Lovely, very clean and comfortable. Huge, well kept grounds. Kind and helpful hosts. Fantastic place!

The Yorke family had an unusual relationship with their servants and commemorated them in portraits and poems, and the servants' quarters and estate workshops survive well. Outbuildings include the Joiners' Workshop, Smithy, Sawmill and Stables, and the house holds a fine collection of 17th-century furniture.

Dogs are welcome in the garden and on the estate on a lead, but not in the Hall, Hayloft Restaurant, shop or Wolf's Den (assistance dogs are allowed everywhere).
