The restful king-size bedroom is also on this level, as is the inviting bathroom, where you can enjoy a long soak in the bath or a quick spritz under the shower. Two steps lead down to the kitchen/diner, a sleek space in which exposed-stone walls contrast with the texture of glossy cabinets.

The dining nook is the perfect size for up to four guests to gather, and all cooking equipment is provided to ensure tasty meals can be conjured up easily. There’s a dishwasher to help with cleaning up, and a handy washing machine is located in the garage in the garden.
