Welcome to Barn End, a cosy retreat in Felindre, Knighton, Mid Wales. This charming cottage sleeps five guests and offers three comfortable bedrooms and three bathrooms. On the ground floor, you'll find a well-equipped kitchen leading to a snug living room with plush sofas and a cast iron electric fire. The dining area seats five, and patio doors open onto a lovely garden patio, ideal for al fresco dining. The ground-floor bedroom features an en-suite wet room.

Upstairs, the master bedroom boasts a double and single brass bed with an en-suite bathroom. A single bedroom with its own shower room completes the first-floor accommodation.

The area is abundant with wildlife and you can see how many species you can spot while enjoying the nature trails. The park also has a large children play area and a licensed café. Seasonal activities can be enjoyed during school holidays and at peak times of the year including Halloween events and crafting sessions as well as ranger led walks.
Powis Castle and Gardens - SY21 8RF

This National Trust site is one of the finest in Wales. The stunning castle was once a medieval fortress and has been remodelled several times over the last 400 years. The Great Hall is home to some amazing collections of paintings as well as sculptures and tapestries. The gardens are world famous with stunning areas of French and Italian style as well as a gorgeous orangery. Children's activities can be enjoyed during school holidays and on special occasions such as Halloween and Christmas.
