About Bwthyn y Bannau

Welcome to Bwthyn y Bannau, a splendid lodge-style cottage in the heart of Brecon, Mid Wales. This spacious accommodation sleeps nine guests across four beautifully decorated bedrooms, making it perfect for large families or groups.

The cottage boasts a shared hot tub, adding a touch of luxury to your stay.

Upon entering, you are greeted by timber-clad walls that create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The ground floor features an open-plan kitchen, lounge, and dining area, equipped with comfortable sofas, a large dining table, and a well-stocked kitchen.

A twin room with rise and recline beds and an en-suite wet room is also on this floor, along with a separate WC.

Upstairs, you'll find three more bedrooms: a stunning king-size master bedroom with an en-suite shower room, another king-size room, and a triple room. Each bedroom has a TV and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys.

A further bathroom with a bath and separate shower is also available.

Outside, the cottage offers several grassy areas with play equipment, a trampoline, and a patio with furniture and a BBQ. The shared hot tub is sheltered from the rain, ensuring you can enjoy it in any weather.

The cottage is situated on a working farm, providing ample countryside to explore.

Nearby attractions include the Brecon Beacons National Park (12 miles), the National Showcaves Centre for Wales (7 miles), and the Epynt Way walking trails that start right from your doorstep. Enjoy the natural beauty and outdoor activities that Mid Wales has to offer.

Cantref Adventure Farm offers hours of indoor and outdoor fun for the whole family. Inside there is a huge soft play area with a separate area for toddlers as well as ball pools, climbing frames, slides and chutes. The Cannon balls are a big hit with children of all ages. New for 2010 is the Badgers quest interactive maze. Outside there is a play area, large boating lake with paddle boats, nature trails with clues and quizzes and an agility course. At only £29.00 for a family of 4 the park offers outstanding value for money.
Lama Trekking at Old king Street Farm - NP16 6AA

Lamas are gentle, affectionate and unique animals and Lama Trekking is fast becoming a popular family attraction. At Old king Street Farm you can spend the day with the charming creatures and enjoy feeding them, grooming them and having a stroll through the woodland.
