I feel like 4 stars is a little harsh and if I could give 4. 5 I would as its a brilliant little place with stunning views from the terrace especially when sitting in the hot tub which was immaculately clean as was the whole place and the outdoor facilities are amazing, there where just a couple of little snags that would stop me giving it 5 stars. One of the stools is broken and stuck in the highest position which means you couldnt sit on it to eat breakfast at the worktop, light in the sauna didnt work. No real storage for clothes, maybe a bed with a pull out compartment underneath would help. You couldnt tell what setting the hob was on as the lights on it are only partially working and although there are a bunch of leaflets for things to do a little welcoming pack with the more local walking trails would be great. I would absolutely recommend staying there as its absolutely beautiful and some of the trials you can walk within driving distance of the property are stunning these were just little things that can be easily fixed.

This is an amazing place for anyone who needs pure rest and relaxation. Everything you could possibly need is provided for a comfortable stay. The welcome pack was much appreciated after my long distance drive. The underfloor heating, sauna, outdoor facilities and hot tub are brilliant. I've left feeling well rested and revived. My only criticism is there weren't any instructions for all the hitech equipment and no WiFi. It was also a bit unnerving that the dial on the sauna was in bits on arrival, although this did not affect the operation of the sauna itself. Overall, if you want a private spa retreat to just relax, this is the spot. Well worth it!

Was a beautiful stay, everything provided for us to have a really relaxed weekend away, we really enjoyed this accommodation and would love to come back another time, The views were amazing and some of the walking routes even more stunning than you can imagine, to then come back and be welcomed by a snug home with a beautiful fireplace and lounging area, Me and the missus were more than happy with the stay.

Lovely accommodation for two people. Inside has everything you need and the fire is a great addition. Outside is fantastic a nice sauna which gets to a decent temperature we managed 8090 and the hot tub was clean and already warm when we got there. Would definitely go back.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location, very clean and everything as described. Had amazing weather so made good use of the fab garden and hot tub. All in all couldnt fault a thing!

On arrival we were told that the small fridge in the cottage was not working but a new one was on order and would be fitted in next couple of days. In the meantime we were able to use the fridge freezer in the outhouse but this wasn't very convenient every time we needed something e.g. milk for a cuppa. It wasn't until we were packing the car to leave at the end of our 4 night stay that someone arrived to fit the new fridge! Also the sauna door didn't close properly, something that I saw mentioned in a previous comment.

Hot tub was filthy limescale on the inside and full of dead flies

The holiday property was fabulous well structed and designed. Couldn't of ask for anything more. Everything was there and my partner and I made good use of the facilities.

Fabulous self contained space, smaller than expected but it didn't detract from a lovely time away. .. the hot tub and room above it was wonderful. Would benefit from the door on the sauna tinkering with and also a welcome book with instructions. The fire pit was great and I managed to use a pizza oven for the first time, huzzah! For the benefit of bookers it has an additional small fridge with small freezer compartment in the outbuilding with a washing machine and dryer. Many thanks for the great space.

Stayed here for 3 nights in April 2025. The accommodation and facilities where exceptional! A lovely welcome pack on arrival was a lovely gesture. A little village which is friendly and most welcoming, we will definitely recommending to family and friends and 100 will return. Thank you

This may seem petty as we really enjoyed the stay but thought the Fridge was far too small as we brought Food and some extra Proseco as it was a Birthday celebration but not enough room in the Fridge and also bought ice but no ice box as we read the nearest shop was over 4 miles away. An Airfryer would also but a good addition, if you stayed in the Summer I think a bigger Fridge with Freezer box would be a big improvement. Also we went the Red Lion on the Monday night but would be good if you informed people they only serve Food to residents on a Monday & Tuesday nights, they made an exception for us which we appreciated. Mainly though this did not stop us rating the stay 5 Stars

We visited end of January. Absolutely stunning little cottage with breath taking views. made really good use of the space, well equipped and loved the outside features and different areas to relax. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. The utility shed was very useful. We had such a lovely, comfortable relaxed weekend. The pub down the road cooks an amazing steak and is literally a short step away. My only constructive feedback would be that the shower wasnt very powerful but really didnt spoil the weekend. The cottage was just exquisite, the welcome hamper was a treat and it was beautifully kept. There was something quite magical about walking through the crisp snow, to get into a pre heated hot tub. The locals were super friendly and Jeff offered us to call if needed anything at all. The local pub served the most amazing steak, from the local farm so felt good to be supportive of British farming too. Cannot wait to return to use the property to its full potential as it was minus 4 for some of our visit! However this did make the log fire, already set up, and the hot tub and sauna feel all the more special. A fabulous weekend in beautiful surroundings, top marks!!

We had a great stay. Beautiful cottage with even nicer views! The only thing that we thought was missing was instructions on how to use the hot tub and the sauna and the fridge was too cold and froze all our food. Geoff responded very quickly to our questions when we were there.

The cottage was lovely, cosy & had everything you needed for a couple & short stay. The views were lovely from the hot tub & the garden. The added out house with the washer & dryer & space for bikes were definitely a bonus. Inside was cosy & warm with the underfloor heating & fire. Jeoff the host was great & as we got caught in the snow, there was no rush to cheak out by 10 as he understood about weather, very thoughtfull & kind of him. We very much enjoyed are stay despite the weather & would definitely be coming back, warmer weather

We've just come home from a lovely weekend at the cobblers shop. What can I say, you have everything you need here. The facilities were great it was so cosy and on a dry day the outside is just the most perfect chill space. The owner was really helpful and on the other end of the phone if we needed him. Would definitely recommend to anyone for a lovely little get away for couples. Hot tub was fantastic and it's in a good location for walks.. We went and did the four waterfalls at brecon beacons. Absolutely beautiful setting and everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The owner, Jeff, checked up on us on arrival and departure and told us to contact him at any time with any issues, of which we had none. Stunning find and we will absolutely be returning. Would 110 recommend a stay here. Sunset in the hottub was simply amazing with the most beautiful of scenery.

Just had a great time in this absolute gem of a place, it was exceptionally clean inside and out upon arrival with everything there we could need, including a welcome basket of local produce. The view from the hot tub of the Welsh valley was magnificent and the sauna was a welcome part of the morning routine. The local pub is only a short walk away with great food, the locals made us feel incredibly welcome too. Just watch out for the landlords dry but witty humour haha. Would definitely stay here again and something tells me we will be

It was everything we hoped for and more! Lovely and cosy and a perfect getaway. Despite the Welsh weather we spent more time outdoors than in! The view from the hot tub beautiful Welsh countryside in the day and an astonishing view of the stars at night is a particular highlight for us, coming from living in the city. The bits and bobs left in the cottage by Geoff were a lovely touch also. Thank you so much and well definitely be back!

What a fabulous cottage couldn't pick any fault with it at all give it a go you won't be disappointed geoff the owner has the place well equipped the hot tub was fab even in winter we sat in it in the rain lol the rest of the outside space was fantastic summerhouse barbecue firepit pizza oven whats not to like. .. husband had a sauna everyday I could go on forever but I won't.. go see for yourself oh I must say thanks to Liz the flowers were appreciated x

The welcome was very warm and friendly. We stayed here two years ago and it is now apparent that wear and tear has not been fully addressed. The bathroom extraction fan was dirty. Since it takes 15 minutes to clean there is no excuse. The jacuzzi cover is tatty, a new one would make a world of difference. The sauna door was warped and did not close. I would still recommend the place and we really enjoyed it.

Wonderful stay, everything was lovely & clean, outside area superb, the only things i would recommend you need is instructions booklet on how things work, sauna, hot tub, etc, also couldn't get the sauna door to close properly, would definitely recommend & would love to come back.

The terraced decking outside is an inventive use of space and turns this cosy renovation into something truly memorable. Even in mid winter we made full use of the hot tub and sauna and thoroughly enjoyed trying our hand at baking homemade pizzas in the wood fired oven. We had to tear ourselves away to enjoy the beautiful rolling hills and pleasant walks right on the doorstep. Ample outdoor storage space for muddy boots and wet coats, utility room with all amenities washing machine, tumble dryer, additional fridge and freezer space and thoughtful outdoor lighting means that it is perfectly possible to keep the little open plan cottage warm and clean even in the harshest of Welsh winter weather. Contrary to other reviews, I found the kitchenette well stocked with quality utensils and the microwave functions as an oven too. I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

Lovely place with good outdoor space, Hot tub & a Sauna was good too. Could do with a small coffee table as there was nowhere to place your drinks whilst sitting on the settee and maybe swing the settee around so that your facing the TV rather than on the side, however it is a great place for short break. Owner was very helpful too.

Great little cottage, great for few nights. We'll equipped except very little storage space for longer stays. Nice welcome pack
