The Cottage

The Cottage is a stunning, two-storey, stone-built lodge nestled in the countryside on Rockingham Forest Holiday Park near King’s Cliffe, Northamptonshire. With parking for up to three cars and a private garden, this characterful retreat welcomes up to three dogs and blends traditional charm with modern indulgence.

Inside, the living space is shaped by exposed textures and a balanced atmosphere, warmed by a woodburning stove and cooled by air conditioning. The kitchen is well-equipped, featuring a gas hob, fridge/freezer, wine chiller, Nutribullet, and coffee maker.

Entertainment is covered with a Smart TV (via Chromecast), Bluetooth connectivity, and USB ports. The conservatory doubles as a stargazing bedroom, offering a tranquil space to unwind beneath the night sky.

Upstairs, two double bedrooms each include a Smart TV, while the bathrooms offer flexibility, one with a walk-in rain shower and the other with a bath. A cot and highchair are available to hire for guests travelling with children.

Step outside, and the garden reveals its own personality. The enclosed decking is set for alfresco dining, but it’s the surrounding features that elevate the experience.
