Enjoy a heritage steam train ride at Bressingham Steam and Gardens or step inside the magnificent Framlingham Castle, both under 11 miles from this wonderful lodge. To get up close to exotic animals, enjoy a day out at Banham Zoo, home to over 1,000 animals.

Back at your lodge, you can enjoy fishing in a lake stocked with roach, tench, perch, pike, and carp – unwind by fishing directly from the lodge's private deck. The open-plan living area combines a generous lounge with a contemporary kitchen, set beneath wide windows that frame views across the lake.

A sofa anchors the lounge, facing a coal-effect gas stove that takes the edge off cooler evenings. A TV with DVD player sits nearby.

The kitchen is fully equipped and ready for self-catered meals, sitting alongside the lounge in a single open-plan space. French doors from the living area lead towards the lake.

The welcoming bedroom is generously proportioned around a super-king-size bed and indoor lay-down sauna with its own set of French doors and lake views. Its en-suite bathroom features a freestanding double-ended bath, walk in deluge shower, and a WC.

Fluffy bathrobes are provided for your stay. A separate deck with patio furniture overlooks the lake, well suited to al fresco dining or a quiet moment with a book.
