Perfectly placed, you will be nestled on a spectacular stretch of coastline boasting dramatic cliffs, diverse wildlife and within walking distance of a beach renowned for some of the best rock pools in the country. Wembury is also a great starting point for lovely inland and coastal walks to Wembury Woods and around Wembury Point.

Venture further afield to discover dramatic cliffs and the tranquil Yealm Estuary at the picturesque twin villages of Newton Ferrers and Noss Mayo. For those seeking culture and shopping, Plymouth - with its Hoe and Barbican, independent stores, theatre and other leisure facilities - is only a short drive away.

Other attractions and places of interest accessible from here include the stunning South Hams, Dartmoor National Park, and the pretty Cornish fishing villages of Looe and Polperro. This stunning property, which has a small private family annexe, but privacy is assured throughout your stay.

Step inside and you will firstly find yourself in the spacious entrance hall with glass doors leading through to the beautiful open-plan living area. This fabulously sociable space boasts leather sofas, a Smart TV/DVD, wood burner, lovely sea views and two sets of French doors to outside, and provides the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely breakfast before heading out, or to relax in at the end of the day.

The kitchen is also perfectly appointed and includes a breakfast bar, an electric oven and gas hob, fridge and dishwasher. A separate utility room with a microwave, freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer is located next to the kitchen, and this leads through to a useful ground floor shower room with shower and WC, perfect for cleaning up after a day at the beach.

Venturing up the stairs and onto the first floor, you will find the light and bright landing and pretty bedrooms. The first bedroom is a generously proportioned master super-king-size bedroom with a vaulted ceiling, feature floor-to-ceiling windows, French doors to a glass-fronted balcony with seating and sea views, and an en-suite bathroom with Airbath, separate wet room-style shower and WC.

This attraction is really unique in that you have the opportunity to gain a rare insight into a working sanctuary.  You can see first hand all of the fantastic work carried out as well as seeing the monkeys themselves.  Other popular areas of this attraction include the Bat Cave and Wildlife Room. the Wildlife Gardens and the kids play area.  There is something for everyone at The Monkey Sanctuary and you can also sponsor and donate if you wish.  The cost to adopt a monkey is from just £2 a month.
