This retreat provides easy access to many attractions such as Sundown Adventure Park (9.5 miles), Robin Hood Wheelgate Park (11 miles), and an archery centre (1.5 miles). Close by is Springvale Fishing Lakes (2 miles).

If you’re eager to explore, try the National Trust’s Clumber Park, great for fishing and wildlife (8.5 miles). If bike rides, dog walks or hiking is more of your holiday treat, try Sherwood Forest (10 miles).

The National Holocaust Centre and Museum (2 miles) or Lincoln Cathedral and Castle (19 miles) are a great way to discover some local history. The cottage is just 5 miles from Rufford Abbey, with lake walks, gardens, an art gallery and cafes, and 7 miles from Welbeck Abbey, with beautiful woodland and parkland walks, shops, and restaurants.

You will find your holiday home down a drive with plenty of parking. Head left, around the back towards the garden and take a minute to enjoy the breathtaking views.

Head inside and be greeted by the large fully equipped kitchen, with everything you need to rustle up the perfect family meal which can be enjoyed around the dining table and chairs. When it is time to relax, choose either the main lounge with garden views, sofas and a Smart TV or relax in the snug with the open fire, another Smart TV and a cosy ambience.

There is a convenient downstairs WC, utility room and dedicated office space in the hall. Heading upstairs, there is a super-king-size bedroom, a double bedroom, and a bunk bedroom.

To complete the accommodation is the family bathroom with a bath, separate shower cubicle and WC. Outside, there is a spacious lawn garden with a patio and furniture to enjoy dining alfresco or an evening sundowner.

This is an all weather attraction located in Ilkeston Derbyshire.  With a large play frame as well as bikes and ride on toys this is a fun place for young children.  The toddler time sessions take place during term times on week days from 9.30am until 2.30pm and are very popular. The admission fee is excellent value for money and parents can sit down and enjoy a drink while the children play. A new baby changing facility has now been installed together with some new chairs making this a clean and welcoming attraction for families.  Look out for offers on their website such as a free hot drink on select days.

Denby visitor centre is a fun day out in the Derbyshire region with an array of activities iunder one roof.  An all weather attraction you can take pottery tours, see cookery demonstrations and visit Bourne's restaurant.  There are events and offers on throughout the year for example the Denby factory Shops sale where you can save £££s and October Creepy Crypt for Halloween where you can go along in fancy dress and have your face painted.  Booking is advised so check out the latest details on their website.

This unique attraction combines an array of activities.  If you have a look on their website there are some good video clips which give an even better idea of what this attraction is all about.  Some of the highlights include the Cable Car system which is actually Britain's first alpine style cable car system.  You are transported from the valley floor right up above where you can enjoy superb Dewent Valley Views.  You can also stroll around 60 acres of wooded hillside on foot to see an array of birds and wildlife.

The site is rather unique and features a huge array of rides including log flumes, roller coasters and pirate ships.
