Ideal location for a countryside getaway . The accommodation was exactly as pictured. It was fantastic value for beautiful accomodation with a hot tub on a weekend. I would book again and recommend it to people I know who want a good value hot tub stay.
Alison
A lovely accommodation home from home, we had a lovely stay there and the accommodation had everything we needed. The owners were on hand for any issues, we had a slight problem with the tv when we arrived and it was sorted within 10 minutes The accommodation has a lovely hot tub unfortunately we didn't use it due to the weather but I can only imagine it would be lovely. We would definitely return, it was in an ideal location for travelling about, must mention the Yew Tree pub just round the corner, lovely food & staff.
Pictures dont do this place justice! The barn was incredible and just what we needed for Christmas. The hot tub was an excellent touch! And the barn was even decorated for us. Lovely stay and amazing value. Great area to explore too!
Amelia
The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed. Left nice and warm for us on a cold weekend and hottub well maintained. Thank you!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was super easy to get to, access and checkin and out. The property itself was clean and warm and the hot tub was fab! Our dogs loved the outdoor area with the stream at the bottom too. We will definitely be coming back!
Lovely peaceful stay, very cosy and warm, hot tub was a bonus and lovely and clean , owners friendly and helpful, church stretton itself was small but quaint, had a lovely Indian in the jaipar. .

A family holiday with our Mum and Dad are in their late 80s. Making memories. We all loved the cottage. We were all comfortable and warm. We'll equipped kitchen. Lovely area for days out. Would definitely recommend and return in the future.
Elizabeth
Lovely little barn conversion. Bedrooms are spacious. Everything was clean. Clear instructions on how to use things. Had everything needed to cook and clean. My son loved the hot tub. Locals are friendly and welcoming.
Alexis
A fantastic place to stay. We enjoyed our holiday there and meeting the lovely host. By the way, try the hot tub!
Teresa
Lovely stay in a beautiful cottage very good location with a nice walk into Church Stretton . The hot tub was great to use at the end of each day. Would definitely return
Claire
Great property for couples or family, including dogs. Really convenient location for surrounding attractions and walking. We were on a short break and the weather wasn't great, but had a great time. The local pub The Yew Tree, was very friendly and serves good food.
Cottage was lovely and in a great location, but parts of it are looking tired and there is a complete lack of storage in the first floor bedrooms. Had to lay clothes out on the floor under the eaves, and with the low roof beams is far from practical for tall people.
Matthew
Beautiful property in a fantastic area, close to the local towns and some gorgeous valleys to walk. Would 100 come back
Had a lovely 4 days with family at no4 barn so relaxing and we had sunshine ... Had a lovely 4 days with family at no4 barn so relaxing and we had sunshine which was a bonus Meal in the local restaurant for my birthday
We stayed in No. 4 and it was beautiful, very clean and well equipped, beds were very comfy. Would highly recommend and we would definately stay here again. Hot tub was an added bonus. Lovely surrounding countryside and we had some lovely meals in the local pubs. No complaints about anything.
Angela
We had a great stay, with everything we needed. The downstairs bedroom and shower room worked well for our disabled relative. The hot tub was lovely.
Absolutely stunning property cannot fault it in anyway
Really lovely place, easy to find and everything we needed
Stuart
Lovely barn with everything you need. There are fantastic walks from the front door, a lovely village with plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops just 1 mile 15 minute walk up the road. A nice pub just 5 minutes away with good food and dog friendly. The owner was very welcoming, we will definitely return.
My two sons and our dog spent a great weekend here in July. The cottage is beautiful and there was plenty of space for us all. The scenery is amazing and it is very quiet at night so definitely one for a good nights sleep. Cottage had everything we wanted which for two teenage boys was good WiFi and the hot tub!? Would definitely recommend and come back.
A brilliant week spent exploring the area. So easy to get to different walks, with stunning views. The cottage was lovely. Plenty of space. Could do with a bit more crockery and the downstairs mattress not comfortable and needs replacing. But everything else was great. Including the weather, local pub the Yew Tree, and trips to Ludlow and Ironbridge. Our dogs loved every minute also.
Another lovely stay at the Old Barns. The situation is stunning and we really had the best of it with beautiful weather. Thank you
Perfect, comfortable accomodation in a quiet location but right in the middle of lovely walks with views and pretty towns with independent shops.

We had a beautiful stay here for 2 nights. Ideally located near Church Stretton with plenty of shops, restaurants and walks up Long Mynd. The cottage was comfortable, beautifully decorated and furnished. We would stay again. The garden area with the babbling Brook was a great surprise and perfect for the kids to play in. The area is quiet, and it was lovely to wake up to the sound of the birds chirping. The sheep and lambs were a welcome addition in the field next door. The water was not hot in the downstairs shower room so showers were very short! Other than that, we have bo complaints.
Angela
Good stay. the downside was that noise carries so clearly right through the cottage. Its like being in the same room
Christopher
Property had some problems with plumbing radiators in bathroom didn't work at all Witch made showers for children cold.
Michelle
Lovely cosy stay. With Christmas decorations and trees put up for our stay. As well as welcome gifts. Very appreciated. Living rooms comfortable and kitchen nice. Hot tub was lovely Cover very heavy to take off and difficult to put back on as there isnt much room round the side to do it. The hot tub is checked every day for chemicals etc. Which is fab. Nice pub not far for a nice meal. House lovely and warm. Bad points Bedroom downstairs has dirty carpet unfortunately. Not nice at all. Shower would not get warm. Hot water doesnt work so couldnt have a bath. Water would get luke warm, Then occasionally get roasting hot for a couple of seconds then go lukewarm at best again. No drawers or anything at all in bedrooms. Apart from the downstairs befroom. There is room to put some sort of drawers on the sides of bedroom or even outside the bedroom upstairs. The WiFi is not great. The TV signal is not good and watching TV Christmas Day was disappointing as the picture kept scrambling. TV remotes are awkward to use as you have to swap signal from one to another. There are instructions but it takes a while to do. Bathrooms could do with a makeover.
Accommodation clean and spacious and we loved the hot tub. Unfortunately we could clearly smell the dogs of previous occupants and barking dogs at No 2 disturbed us the occupants at No1 had to curtail their stay because of this and were VERY unhappy. Directions to the Old Barn were poor we were walking from Church Stretton train station and getting there was stressful although we got to know the buses. Also we couldn't work out how to use the microwave. Old Barn is very much for car owners. However the Long Mynd and surrounding area was spectacular.
Very good standard of accommodation in a lovely spot. Ideal for a short break and extremely dogfriendly good value for money. Our autistic son 22 loved the hot tub, reliable wifi and comfy beds! Second visit in three years and everything remained at the same high standard.
The property was not up to standard with cleanliness. Towels smelt strange, sink hole was brown, shower cubicle had black mould inside. The Duvets and pillows were of poor quality compared with other cottages we have stayed at. Needs a dressing table where you can plug in a hairdryer. A welcome pack with some basics like milk etc is what we are used to and nothing was left. Hot tub area was really in a sad state so we didnt use it. The place felt tardy needs updating in our opinion. We left a day early which was a real shame. Price doesnt reflect what we paid for.
Yvonne
Lovely barn conversion, very cosy and more spacious than the pictures give it credit for. Had a wonderful break, gorgeous hilly walks followed by a pint at the very close local and then a dip in the hottub which although outside the front door in the courtyard was very private still. Felt like we were away from it all even though just over am hour away from home, will definitely be back to discover more of this amazing part of the country.
Elizabeth
Lovely holiday place with character and charm in a beautiful setting. Dog friendly but visitors should be aware that 2 of the 3 bedrooms are out of bounds to dogs. Could do with a grater and another oven tray but probably most people eat out as the friendly pub is only a few minutes walk away and Church Stretton has delightful eateries.
Lesley
We had the loveliest break, beautiful scenery all around and a comfortable place to stay. The hot tub was a big hit! We will be back.
Stephen
A very pleasant barn conversion in a beautiful part of England. A good supply of information about the property and the locality, was on hand. The owners were easily contactable we had a concern about the jacuzzi settings. Some of us missed having more surfaces and hooks to put washing paraphernalia on hand clothes from in the downstair bathroom. Others were more relaxed and who could blame them for being so. Staying there was a real treat in terms of getting away from the crazy city life elsewhere.
Catherine
We had a fabulous stay at number 4. The accommodation was in a fabulous position with fields and rural views and the sheep were a bonus. The found it was a fantastic spot for exploring the surrounding areas of Ludlow and enjoyed Carding Mill Valley. The accommodation was dog friendly and we would certainly recommend to others. The hot tub was the icing on the cake.
Ernest
Although we very much enjoyed our stay at Old Barn 4 maybe a couple of chests of drawers to store clothes in during our stay might have been useful. I appreciate that the walls in the two upstairs bedrooms are sloping but you can get low chests of drawers which would have fitted in well. Also whilst I appreciate the difficulties of covid etc, a few old books and games might have been useful. Finally, the instructions on waste and recycling were extremely vague or non existant so we didn't really know what went where with what. Apart form that, we had a lovely time and would recommend the cottage. Thank you
Beautiful place set in fantastic scenery. Hopefully return soon
Great location for a lovely getaway with a group of friends. A beautiful converted barn with original features to enjoy. The hot tub was an added luxury and having the pub only 500m away was brilliant too! The Long Mynd is literally on the doorstep so great for those that like to walk and appreciate the Shropshire hills. Would definitely visit again.
