From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel really welcome. When the water main burst a few days in, they were quick to help, which we genuinely appreciated. The location is perfect - nestled in gorgeous countryside with stunning views of Durham moorland, yet just a short walk into Lanchester with its pubs and eateries. The property itself is well-equipped, with a hot tub, outdoor dining, barbecue, fire pitand even a quirky Harry Potter cupboard! It's a great spot for a relaxing break.

The outdoor area is perfect when the weather's nice - a lovely spot for dinner or relaxing by the fire pit with a drink. The owners go above and beyond to make sure everything's perfect. Location's great too, especially if you're into cycling - the railway trail behind the house offers miles of traffic-free riding. Highly recommend!

Honestly, this holiday home was fantastic for our family get-together. The five bedrooms with en-suites made everything so comfortable, especially for our multi-generation group. Everything inside was really high quality and well-stocked, which we appreciated. The hot tub was a highlightand the garden was lovely to relax in.
