Enter into the kitchen to find a well-equipped selection of appliances and utensils, along with a dining table for six, making a great spot to enjoy a home-cooked meal or pulling open a map and planning the next day’s adventure. Enjoy your down time within the cosy sitting room, where two sofas and an armchair are positioned around the woodburning stove, while in the corner there is a TV with Now TV box for plenty of on-demand streaming.
As the evening draws to a close, retire to the bedrooms upstairs, with delightful sleeping quarters across both floors. The second-floor plays host to a spacious mezzanine double bedroom with a sloped, beamed ceiling and traditional wooden flooring providing character to the room, plus a dressing table and a seating area with TV to offer a private spot away from the group.
There is also the added benefit of an en-suite shower room and views towards the surrounding fells that can also be appreciated from this level. The other two bedrooms can be found on the first floor and include a double and a twin bedded, served by a large bathroom with choice of bath and shower over.
Step outside and relish in the delightful garden, offering seating at a lower and higher level which is perfect for alfresco dining or simply enjoy a refreshing drink amidst the quiet surroundings. Walkers will be in awe of exploring the area with a number of a scenic walks from the door – the more adventurous will love to tackle the Great Rigg and Helm Crag whilst those looking for a gentler route can enjoy a walk around the beautiful waters of Grasmere.
