The property sits just behind the high street in the ancient village of Churchtown, providing a relaxing base for exploring the popular resort of Southport.

The Botanic Gardens are just a short stroll away, known for their fernery and aviary. There are several golf courses in the immediate area, and the beach and pier are within easy reach (3.5 miles).

The Marine Lake is to the west (2 miles), with nearby attractions including King’s Gardens, Southport Model Railway Village and Princes Park. Nature lovers can head north to RSPB Marshside (1.5 miles) or inland to visit the wetlands at WWT Martin Mere (8 miles).

This bright and inviting property features a sleek and elegantly organised kitchen with plenty of equipment and storage space, and a handy central island. The ground floor also has a relaxing lounge with sumptuous seating and a Smart TV, and a handsome dining room perfect for family get-togethers.

Head for the Bowland Wild Boar park and we don't think you will be disappointed.  A popular attraction in Preston there is so much to do for the whole family.  From picnics, walks and wildlife to experiencing feeding the animals you are sure to have a memorable day out.  Also popular is the kids tractor play area.  For rest and relaxation the cafe is ideal serving hot drinks and snacks with a lovely view over the pond and wildlife feeding station.  The Forest of Bowland has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

St Winefride's Well - CH8 7PN

St Winefride's Well in Flintshire is described at one of the 7 wonders of Wales and is shrouded in mystery and intrigue. Legend has it that the well first erupted at the spot where Caradog cut off the nuns head with his sword. The shrine was then erected in her memory in the first decade of the sixteenth century and remains one of the holiest places in Wales. The stunning temple and well attract visitors from all over the world. Water can be drawn from the spring basin within the crypt and is thought to be lucky.
