Noah's Barn Reviews

What a beautiful home Noah's Barn is. Right from pulling up on the drive we knew we had made the right choice. The home is STUNNING, welcoming, warm, homely and there is nothing bad we could say about it. It had more amenities than we expected from a holiday rental, there was nothing extra that we needed. Our family group had the most wonderful weekend trip in this beautiful country retreat ..... we all miss the hot tub already !!! We did speak with the home owner before our stay too and she was so so helpful giving lots of tips of the surrounding area. We would 100 book to stay there again .... hopefully in winter so we can light up the beautiful big log burner. Anyone looking for a large rental in that area then Noah's Barn is the PERFECT CHOICE !!!
We booked this house for my dads 60th, we had cousins, grandparents, mums & dads and it was accommodating for us all! They thought of everything we could have possibly needed, jaccuzi was a great touch and we had a bbq one of the nights which was great to have available on hotter days! Rooms were all lovely had more than enough space for us all and it was only a short walk to the local pub which had excellent food. Everyone was so happy with the stay and cant wait to come back! Thank you!
5 Stars A Wonderful Family Stay at Noahs Barn We had a fantastic stay at Noahs Barn the whole family thoroughly enjoyed it! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, thanks to the thoughtful extra touches like the welcome hamper and even treats for the dog. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good nights sleep for everyone. The flat garden was perfect for family games and provided plenty of space for the kids to run around. The hot tub was a real highlight and made for some very relaxing evenings. The kitchen area provided everything needed for us to prepare family meals with the large dining area perfect for the family to gather round. The location was ideal central enough that we didnt have to travel far for any of our days out, which made things easy for our group. We would definitely recommend Noahs Barn and are already planning to return next year. A lovely place that really helped make our getaway special.
Wow Noahs Barn you certainly didnt disappoint any of our party , thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful well equipped barn , the little extra touches were really appreciated by us and our dogs! Beautiful large garden with Hot tub and bbq the weather was fabulous. Great comfortable beds so well rested . Highly recommend Noahs Barn and will definitely be a returning guest.

A fantastic property! We visited as a group of 12, ages ranged from 7 months to 67 years. The property was very spacious and catered for all of our needs. The hot tub and garden are lovely to sit out and the open plan layout was perfect for our large group. We would definitely visit again in the future.
We had a lovely stay. The house is beautiful and very spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed, a big plus was the drinks fridge in the utility. A lovely back garden which the dogs made good use of. The outdoor furniture was excellent and the hot tub a real treat. A real find!
Superb outdoor area, inside very spacious and comfortable, only two bathrooms one on suite and a family bathroom. Not many toilet rolls, only a few tea spoons, and 3 dishwasher tablets, not enough black bin liners. Tiny details, but lovely welcome pack, great parking, And a great house, had an amazing time and would recommend Noahs Barn for any family gathering
We have just come back from a fantastic week at Noahs Barn. The house was perfect for a big family and the facilities were great, a well stocked kitchen with all you needed and lots of space to cook for a large group. We asked to have the aga on. A welcome basket on arrival was lovely and the basket of towels and plastic glasses for the hot tub was a nice touch. The house was well laid out and very comfortable. We would highly recommend.
Our group of 4 adults & 2 dogs were a bit conflicted about this property. There were some great features & a couple of disappointments. The hot tub & beautiful view from the extensive gardens were a real treat. The spacious kitchen & living room areas were a great space for eating & relaxing. However the property was let down by the general lack of attention to hygiene & cleanliness. The bathrooms & showers definitely need more attention from the cleaning team. Kitchenware, surfaces, appliances could also do with a more thorough cleaningchecking regime. Unfortunately there were no cleaning fluidssprays onsite that we could have used. The owner did her best to address our concerns, which was much appreciated. If these things were addressed it would definitely be a 5 star retreat.
We had an amazing weekend at Noahs Barn, beautiful home and garden and really good sized hot tub which fit all 9 of us. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and the outside space was perfect for a bbq. Would highly recommend and would love to return.
Lovely barn, decor & its general appearance so lovely. Aga kept whole house lovely & warm. We spent one full sunny day outside using the hot tub & patio furniture to relax. The boys, age 7 & 9 played football on the large lawn & the 5 year old girl played on the swing. We used the bbq too. There was plenty of room for the 3 cars inside the gated area. Being easter the door area was trimmed up accordingly for our arrival. We took all our own eg washing up liwuid, tea towels etc but there was plenty supplied. Also prosecco & treats for the adults & the dogs.Everything catered for.

The property was in the right place for our family holiday with ample space for the children to play and enjoy. The hot tub was a great success and much enjoyed by the younger members of the family. The huge TV was appreciated and the lounge and dining areas were perfect for our number. The heating upstairs could have been warmer. Altogether it was a very successful and enjoyable week.

We stayed at Noahs barn for 3 nights, there was 7 of us and 2 dogs. It was an amazing place and plenty of room for us all. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch and the dogs enjoyed the dog treats and the massive garden, it would be lovely in the summer. The hot tub was fantastic. We would definitely go back and would recommend to our family and friends. We all had a great stay
We had a lovely Xmas week stay here. It's a beautiful property with great amenities. We were 9 and there was plenty of room for all of us. The double bed was a bit lumpy apparently.....I didn't sleep in there. I marked it down on cleanliness slightly only because under the sofa cushions was very messy. I would of hoovered it myself but there wasn't one.....just a broom. It didn't in anyway detract from our holiday ....we loved the barn.

Beautiful property with a great location.
1010! There was 9 adults, a 1 year old and a dog. Most of us travelled from Scotland with 3 travelling from London as a meet in the middle celebration for our Mums 50th. Mum had no idea where she was going! The WOW factor when we walked in was just the best! The owners had thought of everything from a hamper with beers and fizz, down to treats for the dog and towels for the hot tub! Location is also perfect being close drive to Blackpool! Thank you thank you. Weve made memories to last forever and we were already discussing booking again for another time on day one of being there. Thanks again!
Beautiful house which we enjoyed very much. Patio and garden area are lovely. We had everything we needed for a great weekend.
Louise
Noah's Barn was a lovely home to stay in while on holiday. The was plenty of room for all 10 of us. The rooms were all a good size and very comfortable. The garden is massive and the hot tub is an added bonus for them warm summer evening to relax in after a day of sightseeing
We stayed here for my husbands 40th and my in laws 50th wedding anniversary. The house was gorgeous and had everything we needed and more. Only 25min drive into Blackpool which we enjoyed doing each day. The hot tub was a great bonus to chill out and relax. The owner left a generous hamper pack for us to enjoy which was lovely. Would definitely recommend and come back again.
Wow this place is something else! ! Just got back for a hen weekend this place is amazing, we absolutely had the best time. We will definitely be returning just perfect
Property is beautiful we had a lovely stay celebrating our mum's 80th birthday. We did have a problem with the cot and contacted the owner who was so helpful replacing it with a brand new one the same day. Excellent communication with the owner and lovely of them to leave a welcome birthday gift. The property has everything you could want, books and games for the children with quizzes and board games too. The kitchen is well equipped and they even supply towels for the hot tub. Lovely cosy stay and we would definitely return.

Such a beautiful house in a beautiful setting! Thank you for the best stay for a girls weekend away.
10 of us ladies came here and had an absolute ball, the house is situated on a quiet country lane, surrounded by fields. When we entered the property we were blown away, absolutely amazing! beautiful beautiful place, plenty big enough for 10 people. Back garden, seating area and hot tub perfect as the weather was lovely! would not hesitate to recommend or return!!! in fact, we're already planning our next jaunt!
Absolutely beautiful house, we had the most amazing weekend, the house had everything we needed was lovely and clean, will definitely be staying again. Beautiful.
One of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Booked this for the whole family to get together in March and celebrate my mums 80th birthday and this amazing accommodation made the whole thing extra special for my mum. She absolutely loved it. Loads of space, everything you could possibly need. Beautifully decorated, nice bedrooms, bathrooms and nice showers. The owner was available to contact if needed and dealt with any questions we had very quickly. Great welcome basket with wine and cake! Everyone loved the hot tub, especially my mum. I dont think she wanted to leave. If youre considering renting this place, do it you will love it!
We stayed here for my mums 70th birthday. Upon arrival I contacted the owner to make them aware of pre existing damage. One of the legs on the nest of tables was broken, cigarette burns on the couch, both showers didn't work properly a plumber was called out who couldn't fix the main shower and the electric shower was cold stains on the rug and sofas, iron burn on the carpet in one of the bedrooms, a dining chair was broken. The floor also hadn't been cleaned as all of our socks were dirty within minutes. The outdoor table with the fire also didn't work so we couldn't enjoy the garden like we'd hoped. I have photos as proof of all the damage we came across. Although the owner was understanding and tried to help we still had to get washed in the hot tub. Won't be booking with Sykes again unfortunately.
What a beautiful home this is, we had an amazing time for my 30th birthday. The house was easily large enough for all 10 of us with lots of space in every main room. The only slight niggle was the shower in the main bathroom we really struggled to get it to stop dripping and for it to have hot water it always seemed to be cold. But the shower in the onsuite was fine so we had a work around. We ended up checking out about 15min over so we bumped in to the lady who owns it too and she was a really lovely lady, so glad I picked here to stay for my birthday and would recommend to anybody who just wants a little weekend away.
Had another lovely weekend at Noahs Barn the house has everything you need large garden ideal for dogs and children will definitely be back.
Danielle
The property is stunning and perfect for a family or group, plenty of spacious rooms. The views outside are beautiful. We took a 20 minute walk into the village and found a lovely pub and bakery too. The hamper of wine and chocolate left for our arrival was very much appreciated too!
My review is 2 parts. Firstly WARNING for guests with children & dogs, secondly for adults. Prior to booking our family gathering I rang Sykes Cottages to confirm the garden was fully enclosed for my 2 dogs and grandchildren. Having contacted the owner it was confirmed the garden was secure and fully enclosed. What we found was a large garden with high fencing on 2 sides. At the end of the garden was a row of brambles and a 3ft slope down to what looked like wire fencing, this we later found to be a 3ft fully BARBED WIRE fence as my large dogs managed to get past me and squeeze through a gap in the fencing into the farmers field thankfully there was no livestock there as I am aware the farmer has a right to shoot. 1 dog cut their face and I got stuck on the fence trying to retrieve them, we all ended up covered in cow poo. We couldn't stop thinking about how much worse it could have been had one of the children chased a ball and slipped down the slope into the barbed wire. Annoyed and upset I complained and reported this. There was no interest shown by the owner in the wellbeing of the dog or myself or any attempt to rectify the matter, in fact they denied there was a problem until photographic evidence was provided to Sykes Cottages. Then I was offered a 20 refund what I paid to take the 2nd dog which was an insult and refused. I left the following day, upset and with the dogs who were supposed to remain at the barn for the rest of the week with family. On the flip side to this, the barn itself is beautiful, tastefully decorated and with lovely welcome gifts. The kitchen is well stocked and warm with the aga but there is no door from the lounge into the kitchen causing a burning hazard for a child. Towels & plastic glasses are provided for the hot tub unaware, we had taken our own. It is perfect for adults just be prepared for the trickles of water from the shower and the trip hazards throughout.
Michelle
What an amazing holiday home. We had an a amazing time and very gratful for the welcome gift.
Beautiful house! Cosy, warm & comfortable. Everything catered for and the arrival pack was just beautiful. Kids loved the Halloween treats. Gorgeous views, making it the relaxing weekend that we needed. Many thanks.
House was lovely only complaint was the showers, absolutely no power so felt like a trickle. Also lack of sockets especially beside beds which meant no lamps so wandering around in pitch darkness.
