About Beadnell Beach House

This on-the-beach architect-designed house presents coastal holidaying at its best. With private steps leading right down onto Smuggler's Cove beach, Beadnell Beach House has a stunning position and an equally impressive interior.

Let the sound of the waves breaking on the shore lull you to sleep at night and wake you up to some mesmerising sea views. The spacious and light-filled interior, recently updated, at Beadnell Beach House lends itself to the simple pleasures of a beach holiday from dining out on the terrace to relaxing on the first floor balcony.

The open plan kitchen and dining space is perfect for entertaining while a second living room on the first floor, with its large cathedral style windows and a balcony, means whether you are here or on the terrace below, your sea view is never too far away. The architecture also provides a superb backdrop for the vivid contemporary Karen Willis artwork, all of which is available to purchase, should guests wish to.

Outside there is a hammock and outdoor furniture for true al fresco living and a short walk away are Beadnell's pubs, bistro and village store. This glamorous beach setting caters for all ages and groups.

Please note the video tour shows the spaces and flow within the house, but refurbishment has taken place since filming. The photographs are up to date.

Beadnell Beach House Reviews

Malcolm
Decor and furniture are first class. A wonderful location on a nice stretch of beach. Very calming waves and peaceful area. Suits adults, kids and dogs. Big space lounge and dining area on ground floor and beautiful large lounge upstairs with magnificent views. Bedrooms and bathrooms are also a great size. There were 10 of us and plenty of room for everyone. Nice utitilty room and garage area for beach and play stuff. Huge terrace for relaxing and smaller one upstairs. Overall we had a great stay, this is the best accomodation we have ever had on holiday.
Michael
A great house in a fantastic setting. Direct access to the beach (steep steps) makes it ideal for a family break. We will be back!
Andrew
Fantastic location with access directly to the beach, stunning sunrises. House is perfect for large groups of 6-10 and then becomes ok value for money. Lovely layout with two lounges the upstairs lounge has breathtaking views of the coast and a great place to replace. Dogs welcome but strict house rules on where they can go. Nice sized kitchen and fairly well equipped, two nice sized ovens and huge fridge with separate freezer. Perfect location for exploring all the gorgeous beaches between Bamburgh and Craster and excellent pubs / restaurants near by. Highly recommend the Craster Arms in Beadnell. Lovely stay thanks
Nicola
Fabulous stay with another 10 ladies. We were very lucky to spend the afternoon on the beach with sunshine. The location is amazing, house has everything with plenty room for a large group. Bus to Crasters and walked back. Will certainly return
Anne
The location of the house is perfect Notwithstanding all above we had a fabulous stay and hope to come again
Lesley
Location is what makes the small issues fade away. We added some netting to keep small dogs safe.
Linda
House is beautiful and views stunning but experience ruined by demolition work next door.I would seriously recommend thst future guests investigate planned work as we were told owners and coastal retreats unaware. Representative from letting agency apparently attrnded site and told site manager " It wasn't too bad" our video evidence disputes this. Such a shame as property was everything we had hoped and planned for to celebrate my special Birthday
Christine
Fabulous cottage with great location. Big enough for a big family gathering very spacious and comfortable.
Matthew

Jacqueline
The Beach House is a fantastic place to stay. It is beautifully presented, very clean and literally has everything you could possibly need. The house is extremely well equipped throughout and is perfectly located.
Caroline
The Beach House is a beautiful property. The location is amazing. The owners of this property have thought very carefully about the comfort of their guests. The beds and extra large sofas were very comfortable. We stayed for a week, a multigenerational family, it was very hard the pack up and go home as we all wanted to stay. Locally Beadnell Bay is fantastic for dog walks. There are numerous dog-friendly pubs and all-in-all it was a perfect holiday. I wonâ??t forget the view when waking in the early morning - totally amazing. Many thanks to all involved.
Mary
We had a wonderful time with family at this beautiful property, in a fantastic location on the beach. Weâ??ve already booked our stay for next summer.
June

The beautiful medieval castle is open to the public and during school holidays and at Christmas and Halloween a range of activities can be enjoyed including Santa's Workshop, a Pumpkin Parade, Spell Making Lessons and Owl and Bird of Prey Flying.
Cragside House and Gardens - NE65 7PX
about 19 Miles
Cragside House and Gardens (National Trust) are a popular Northumberland attraction with a beautiful stately home and gorgeous grounds to explore. The rhododendron labyrinth is a unique and fun addition to the grounds and there is also an adventure playground where children can let of steam. It is the stunning scenery that attracts most of the visitors though with many bringing a picnic for a relaxing family day out. The house itself hosts exhibits which change regularly. World of the Water Wizard is currently on display.
Conundrum Farm - EX5 3AQ
about 22 Miles
With easy access from the A1 this lovely farm just north of Berwick makes a fantastic family day out.  Follow the farm trail and meet an array of friendly farm animals.  Kids will also enjoy the indoor and outdoor play areas, pet barn and tractor circuit.  The admission fee is excellent value and you will get a free bag of food for the animals and a bag of fish food for the trouts in the fish pond. When you want a bite to eat, the licensed restaurant is the place to go with quality home cooking and a charming location in some of the converted farm buildings.
