Enjoy a Northumberland getaway in this spacious farmhouse, where contemporary design meets heritage features, and there’s plenty of room for everyone to relax. This grand property is located on a working farm among winding country roads and rolling fields in the hamlet of Earsdon, just a few miles from the local villages of Longhorsley (5 miles) and Widdrington Station (4.5 miles).
The coast lies a little further beyond, with the seaside village of Cresswell (8.5 miles) offering a beautiful sandy beach that’s ever popular with walkers and cyclists. Along the shoreline, Druridge Bay and Druridge Bay Country Park (both 6.5 miles) are also hotspots for walking and cycling, with rich landscapes and inviting scenery.
The picturesque town of Morpeth lies waiting to be discovered 6.5 miles away. As one of Northumberland’s main towns, it’s a fantastic destination filled with stunning architecture, local heritage and cobbled streets lined with shops, eateries and bars.
Step inside to discover rooms laid out across two floors, each thoughtfully outfitted with modern comforts and stylish design. At ground level, the tiled hallway gives way to a utility room with laundry facilities and space to store walking gear, and there is also a handy downstairs WC.
Head into the stunning farmhouse-style kitchen/diner with a range cooker and dining table neatly positioned at its centre. After dinner, retire to two separate spaces – the lounge and the fantastic games room.
For family fun, make a beeline for the games room to play a few rounds of pool. The lounge offers a more restful atmosphere, with ample seating options, a Smart TV and a fabulous wood burner that adds a warm glow to cooler evenings.
Completing this floor is a final space for relaxation: a delightful sunroom with seating that’s best enjoyed as daylight streams in. Take the stairs up to the first floor to find five generous bedrooms, each with room to spread out after unpacking.
