Situated on a quiet lane in the pretty village of Warkworth, this charming home is perfect for groups of six friends with plenty of space to relax and socialise together. There is a pub, restaurant and tea room within 500 metres, and the imposing Warkworth Castle sits atop a hill around 200 metres away.

Take a walk along the River Coquet estuary to the waterfront town of Amble (1 mile) which has a wider range of amenities and a marine where you can take boat trips. Warkworth Beach (1 mile) is a lovely sandy beach which has some interesting rock pools for you to explore.

Further afield, you have the intriguing town of Alnwick (7 miles) and its magical castle, the real-life Hogwarts. Keen walkers can enjoy a long stroll along the Northumberland Coast Path.

Head through the front door and find a spacious hallway where you can leave your walking or beach gear. Leading from here is a handy downstairs WC, as well as the living and kitchen areas.

The kitchen/diner is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare picnics or hearty meals, and a little dining table seats six guests. Settle down in the colourful lounge with its high ceiling and bright décor.

There is plenty of space on the comfortable sofas and an electric fire contributes to the ambience of the space. Upstairs on the first floor are two of the three bedrooms, one which contains a sumptuous king-size bed and a Smart TV, and the other is a twin bedroom with its own en-suite shower room.

A family bathroom which has a fantastic free-standing bath completes this level. Alight to the second floor, where the superb master bedroom is.
