We had a lovely stay at Skyline! The welcome was really warmand the beds were super comfy. The views from the cottage are so peaceful, perfect for unwinding. The kitchen had everything we needed for a family celebrationand the hot tub was a hit - kept at the right temperature and big enough for everyone. There are plenty of spots inside and out to relax, plus great walks just outside the door. Definitely an indulgent break we'd do again!

Our family, ranging from 18 months to 70 years old, had an amazing stay! The cottage was simply gorgeous, with breathtaking views that made every morning special. We tried some paddleboarding and canyoning - loads of fun for those who were up for it. Visiting Low and High Force was a highlight for everyone. The walk to Fox and Hounds was lovelyand we felt really welcome there. The house itself was fantastic-spacious, well-appointedand perfect for both relaxing and playing games. Thanks for a memorable holiday!

We had a great stay! The cottage's location is truly lovely, with stunning views and perfect for walks nearby. It's super comfortable, cleanand well kitted out for a group of friends - though the twin room is a bit tight for adults, more suited for kids. The hot tub was definitely a highlight. Would stay again!

This place is really nice, no complaints at all. The owner was super helpful and quick to reply when we had a couple of questions before arriving. Overall, it's a great spot for a peaceful getaway in such beautiful surroundings. We'd definitely stay again!

Clean and cosy stay

We had a lovely stay at this gorgeous cottage, really spotless and well-equipped. The decor is charming and the outdoor space offers stunning views. It's quite spacious and comfy. Just a heads up, the walk into the village is a bit tricky with steep, uneven paths-definitely not pram or wheelchair friendly. Still, two pubs nearby in Cotherstone are worth the trek!
Clara
Beautifully decorated for Christmas. A large living space that felt cosy and warm. Comfortable beds and seating areas. Ample supply of glasses and crockery. Could benefit from more space to store groceries. We all enjoyed the local countryside and the views from the hot tub!
Lucy
This is a perfect arrangement for a big group, as it lets everyone hang out together in the living area while cooking or just relaxing. The bedrooms are lovely and there's an excellent safe space for the dogs too!

Big Sheep - EX39 5AP

This is a recommended day out for families with young children visiting the Bedale area of Yorkshire.  Visit the farm and receive a warm welcome as well as a guided tour.  You will have the chance to bottle feed the lambs, bath a pig and handle some of the smaller animals.  Kids will love the big sandpit and the outdoor play area. There is also a cafe and indoor play area for when the weather is not on your side.
