We received a very warm welcome from the host, Emma, as we arrived and she gave us plenty of recommendations for local area. Cottage was exactly as described on upper floor with all amenities to make a comfortable short break. Parking is in the courtyard right by the property entrance door and staircase up. We used our own mobile data, Vodafone, throughout our stay, without issues. We enjoyed the hot tub, which was easy to use following Emma's instruction. The local, Robin Hood, landlord and other locals were friendly, and The Star Inn, a short drive up the road was a lovely pub with good menu. This cottage was in a great location for our visit around neighbouring townsvillages and a drive across to Flamborough then along the coast. Thank you

Very good property providing an excellent base for walking in the Yorkshire Wolds. The only drawback was the lack of WiFimobile signal a problem of the area, we understand, but it did make searching and booking restaurants difficult.

Amazing place and property. Great hosts and a great private garden with hot tub. Nothing not to like. Only suggestion would be to not rely on WiFi or your phone signal but all good for us its a welcome break. We will be back without doubt. Thanks to Guy and Emma!!

Nice little cottage, very clean and comfortable. Superb hot tub in a secure area suitable for dogs. Some very welcome treats left on arrival which is a nice touch. Shower wasn't very powerful, and locationwise the local village is short on amenities. However there are some lovely local walks to be had, and the local pizza place is good. Overall an enjoyable short stay.

Lovely little find, pub in walking distance and fab pizza place down road. We booked for the hot tub and made good use of it, it's enclosed and very private even though you are next to owners property. I would highly recommend and would love to return

Very good. One low doorway once we got used to ducking was no problem we had everything we needed and was nice that we had secure area to let dog out

Very comfortable and well equipped. Ideally situated for sightseeing and racing. Lovely hot tub. Very friendly and helpful owners. Unfortunately WiFi and mobile signals poor and although there was a warning notice above the entrance to the kitchenliving area my husband managed to bang his head several times on arrival and departure.

What a beautiful, relaxing, welcoming place. It has been well thought out and well laid out. Its nice that the hot tub is secluded and secure so your dog is save while you relax in the tub. Nice touch with the games,books and dvds. Very quiet on a night which we loved. Lovely pizza take away close by and great pub. Lovely to meet the family. Look forward to returning.

We had a lovely stay at The White House the property is very well equipped, with everything youll need for a comfortable few days away. It was lovely and warm, the kitchen had all the essentials, and the bed and bathroom were all great. The bottle of wine and biscuits were a lovely touch too! We took our spaniel, who had the run of a private yard and enjoyed the complimentary dog treats very much! The hot tub was absolutely superb, in its own enclosed, secure area with easy access from the property just a short hop across the private yard. It was very clean, warm and a perfect way to relax throughout the day. We made use of it at least twice a day and could have spent longer! There are a few walks straight out of the door which are handy for other dog owners. The village is very quiet and relaxed. We had a great time and cant wait to plan another trip in future!

We had a wonderful time at The White House, using it as our base to explore the beautiful Yorkshire coastline. The added bonus of having the hot tub to relax in after a day of adventures was also fabulous. This cozy, bijou cottage was perfect for the two of us and our little dog. It was clean and comfortable, and the owner was on hand for any adviceinformation. It benefits from being in easy walking distance to a very dog friendly pub, where food is served Thursday to Sunday. Some lovely Market towns close by to explore and close enough to the sea for walks along the beach. The hot tub made for a relaxing end to the day. Thanks for your hospitality!

Cosy, warm little cottage, well thought out layout, great hottub, situated in a friendly village convenient for Beverly and visits to the coast. Enjoyed the welcome gifts as did our dog and the local walks. Village pubs friendly with good food. Bed very comfortable. No Internet on EE but it was good to get away from technology for a few days.

Last minute booking for 2 of us with our dog over Christmas. What a hidden gem this is. A cozy, warm cottage that had everything we needed nestled in a fantastic village. We arrived to find a welcoming home complete with Christmas tree, wine and mince pies. A very nice touch. We ventured to the local Robin Hood on the 1st night and were greeted with a warm welcome from both the ownersstaff and also all of the locals. We had great food too. On Christmas Eve we chilled and relaxed in the cottage and took a dog walk around the beautiful village before returning to the pub again where our well behaved dog was made most welcome, once again enjoying great food and a welcoming atmosphere from a great community of people. We enjoyed another 2 nights in Middleton and much of the same with a trip into Beverly inbetween. All in all, we had a fantastic break away and I look forward to returning again in the not too distant future. The owners have made a cracking job of their rental and I would highly recommend for anyone looking to kick back, relax but still have home comforts. We couldn't find fault. Thank you for our stay greatly appreciated.

I wanted a quiet little place to relax with my little boy for my birthday. This didn't disappoint arrived to find some little treats from the hosts which was lovely. It was central for the places I wanted to visit with him and also lovely to just stay and relax. The hot tub a massive bonus and very private. Guy and his family on hand to help when you need we occurred a problem with the stove which he fixed promptly. I would definitely recommend this cottage to my friends. Thanks you Guy, Emma.
