Bay House Reviews

Emily
Really enjoyed our stay, lovely views and a cosy atmosphere.
Emma
We loved how roomy everything was! The hot tub and BBQ made outdoor evenings really special. Tony, the host, was quick to reply whenever we reached out. Nice touch with the welcome basket too. After checkout, Tony even messaged us about some shoes we left behind. The kitchen was fully equipped, including an air fryer. We’d happily come back!
Emma
The house was really roomy and perfect for a rainy day. The owner was super helpful with questions. Views were stunningand I bet on a sunny day the beach would be amazing for water fun!
Sam
We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is superb, with stunning views that make waking up each day special. The rooms are quite spacious, perfect for our group of twelve adultsand the facilities are well thought out. Having two dishwashers and a big fridge freezer was a real bonus. The hot tub and gas BBQ are in a fantastic spot overlooking the Firth, making it even better. Yes, a bit of TLC wouldn’t hurt, but overall, a lovely base to explore Dunoon and nearby spots. We’d definitely come back!
Mark
Nice view and friendly owner, resolved small problems smoothly.
Emma
Comfortable, stylish, great value, highly recommend
Emma
We had such a lovely weekend at this house for my 50th birthday! The place is really spacious, perfect for our family ranging from 6 to 77. Everyone appreciated having their own space, even with 12 of us. The owners clearly put a lot of thought into making it comfortable - those two big dishwashers were a lifesaver! The photos honestly don’t do it justice. We’ll definitely be coming back. It’s a fantastic spot for a family get-together!
Charlotte
Lovely spot! We visited for a friend's birthday and really enjoyed it. Perfect location near bars, restaurantsand stunning sea views. Would definitely come back!
Jamie
Bay House was fantastic! The location was spot onand the rooms were really spacious. Loved the hot tub and steam room, plus the cinema room was a bonus. Kitchen had everything we needed for 13, including two dishwashers. Wish we could stay longer!
Emma
The cottage was lovely, with really good amenities. The spot on the bay is just perfect! We stayed over New Year, but I’d definitely come back in summer with the paddleboards and kayak - having direct beach access from the garden is such a bonus!
Emily
Great space, super comfyand the kitchen had everything we needed. Lovely stay!
Martin
We stayed at this lovely house with seven adults and four kids aged 3 to 10. There’s loads of space for everyone, whether you want to hang out together or have some quiet time. The amenities are top-notchand the views are simply stunning. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for more-totally recommend it!
Emma Roberts
We had an amazing stay at this fantastic house! Perfect for our family gathering, especially with three generations celebrating an 80th birthday. The place had everything we needed - comfy beds, stylish furnishingsand ensuite rooms. The high-tech audio-visual gear was a hit, plus the BBQ, hot tuband steam room made it extra special. The kitchen was a dream to cook in, well stocked with fridge, freezerand cooker. With the sea just at the bottom of the garden and loads to do nearby, we couldn’t be happier. Thanks so much!

This place has such potentialand the location is lovely, but we were pretty disappointed. The house really needs some serious TLC-lots of broken fences and an unfenced garden, which was a bit risky. The en-suites are tired and overdue for a makeoverand the lack of outside lighting led to a nasty trip, so be careful. The back garden was full of rubbishand the top floor was freezing! Also, the tech setup was confusing without proper instructions. Could be amazing with some work though!
Emma
Bay House really suited our family getaway; there was plenty of room for everyone and the modern amenities made it super comfortable. We loved the stunning waterside setting and how close it was to town and local shops. Everyone had a great timeand honestly, we didn’t want to leave. Definitely a place to return to!
Emma
The house was absolutely stunningand the hot tub really added to our fantastic stay. Love it!

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was breathtakingand we couldn't find anything to complain about. Everything was perfect. We’ll definitely come back soon, no doubt!
Emma
The house was really lovely-spacious, spotlessand just a quick stroll to the town. The hot tub was a real treatand the views are stunning. Highly recommended!
Emma
The house really suited our big group, with plenty of communal areas and a spacious kitchen. The hot tub was a hit and we all enjoyed relaxing there together!
Sarah
