Set just metres from the shore and surrounded by the stunning scenery of this wild coastline, it’s an ideal spot for enjoying nature, whether you prefer bird watching or stargazing, walking or cycling, sailing or fishing.

The ferry to the Isle of Bute is just 3.5 miles away, and once on the island, you can visit the magnificent Mount Stuart House and Gardens, the ancestral home of the Marquesses of Bute. Follow the atmospheric trails at Puck’s Glen, 14 miles, through a deep, wooded gorge with cascading waterfalls, or head to the renowned Kilbride Bay, 16 miles, a crescent-shaped beach that’s idea for paddling and swimming and has lovely views of the Isles of Arran.

Reach this tucked-away property via a single-track road and park on the drive, where there’s room for six cars. Once inside, you’ll find a superb, open-plan space that’s perfect for everyone to spend unforgettable times together.

The lounge area has plenty of comfortable seating and a Smart TV, with a long dining table adjacent, supplemented by a breakfast bar with stools. The kitchen is excellent, with not one but two ovens to help make meal preparation easier, along with a microwave and a dishwasher.

Four of the handsome bedrooms are on this level, of which three are king-size. One of these has an en-suite shower room and a balcony with fabulous views – an ideal spot for a morning tea.

The remaining two king-size bedrooms on this floor share a bathroom (featuring a spa bath) with a bunk-bed room. Heading upstairs, there are two further king-size bedrooms, one with a large balcony and an en-suite bathroom (featuring a spa bath), and the other benefiting from a Jack-and-Jill shower room leading to the landing.
