Surrounded by Loch Lomond National Park, nature reserves and historic highlights, this cosy pod is the ideal base for a couple to explore all day and bask in the hot tub by night. Walks and bike rides start straight from your front door.

Follow Endrick Water to the west, and you’ll discover Lomond Shore (4 miles). It’s here you can try sailing, angling, paddleboarding, and all while being watched over by the imposing peak of Ben Lomond.

Balloch, Stirling and Glasgow are all within 25 miles and have a wealth of restaurants and shops to pick up your groceries. If you’re a keen golfer, then you have three golf courses within 8 miles of the cottage, and for a more sedate afternoon, wander the 16th-century ruins of Buchanan Castle (2 miles) before coming home to soothe in the bubbling hot tub.

Inside, this wooden-clad cabin boasts an open-plan studio layout, making it easy to spend quality time with your loved one. Prepare a romantic meal for two in the compact but fully equipped kitchenette, where you’ll discover an electric hob/oven, fridge and microwave, then share your creations at the table for two.

An L-shaped sofa is tucked to the right of the cabin, along with a Smart TV, and at the back of the lodge is the cosy double bed. A separate shower room with WC delivers a refreshing start to the day.

Heading outside, there is a lovely seating area to take in the surrounding grounds, with two chairs and a table for your morning cuppa. A private, covered hot tub provides the perfect place to unwind at the end of each day.

When you’re ready for food, a BBQ and dining area are the ultimate finishing touches to a relaxing evening.
