The cottage is cosy, spotlessand well maintained. It’s definitely a great place to stay. My only gripe was the shower, which was quite weak. I’ve let the owner know, so hopefully, it gets sorted soon!

We had an amazing time at this charming cottage! The location is absolutely breathtaking, perfect for relaxing walks through the woods where we spotted deer and red squirrels every day. The place itself is super comfy, with all the home comforts you'd want - cosy beds, reliable wifiand a fully stocked kitchen. The hot tub and the attached Bothy were real highlights. Plus, the Orangery cafe at Branxholme castle served fantastic food with lovely staff. Highly recommend staying here!

We really enjoyed our stay at Branxholme Cottage. It was a great spot for our little girl and our young dog, who loved exploring. Hawick is just down the roadand there are loads of other sights around the Scottish Borders within easy reach. Even though the weather was damp and windy in October, we had a lovely time and felt right at home.

Housing the most fascinating collection of Birds of Prey in the North East this centre is definitely worth a visit if you are staying in the Kielder Water area. Located in Falstone it's easy to get to and makes a great day out for both families and couples.  As well as seeing the amazing birds you can learn all about the captive breeding programme and the excellent work being done there.  Some of the highlights of the day might include watching a Falcon stoop down from the skies at over 100mph and admiring the grace of the Eagles, Kites and Hawks.

Kailzie Gardens are another popular attraction and are an excellent place for a day out in the summertime. The gardens are a peaceful and colourful place to spend the day with a wide variety of flora and fauna on display. Other attractions here include live viewing of the Tweed Valley ospreys, a Gift Shop where children can pick up a souvenir, a Tearoom serving tasty local produce and home cooked meals, a Children's Corner, Putting Green, and a gorgeous private 2½ mile stretch on the River Tweed where visitors can enjoy Fly Fishing and a Picnic Area.
