The beautifully furnished retreat has been thoughtfully updated to make an ideal hideaway for up to six guests keen to explore the region's beautiful surroundings.

Within easy reach of the historic towns of Hawick, Jedburgh and Selkirk, this a perfect base for eager walkers, cyclists, golfers and nature lovers, and features a bubbling hot tub set on a raised decked area, offering a tranquil spot for taking in the glorious views of the borderlands. Six steps lead up onto the decked balcony which surrounds this cheerful, bright and airy detached lodge.

Inside, you will find a spacious and welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with light flooding in through the French doors at the far end. Sitting beneath a high ceiling, the cosy lounge has a Smart TV, Bluetooth speaker and comfortable seating, perfect for a relaxing evening together after a great day out.

To one side there's a charming dining table, with a useful additional breakfast bar over by the sleek, smartly arranged kitchen. The property also offers a refreshing bathroom and three delightful bedrooms: a sweet twin and two king-size rooms, one with a handy en-suite shower room.

From the main living area, French doors open onto a decked area with ample garden furniture and a bubbling hot tub, providing a fresh and relaxing spot for you to sit out and unwind as you dine alfresco and enjoy the peaceful views of the Scottish Borders. You're also welcome to head out and explore the surrounding 86-acre woodland and country estate.

Private off-road parking is available for three cars.

Housing the most fascinating collection of Birds of Prey in the North East this centre is definitely worth a visit if you are staying in the Kielder Water area. Located in Falstone it's easy to get to and makes a great day out for both families and couples.  As well as seeing the amazing birds you can learn all about the captive breeding programme and the excellent work being done there.  Some of the highlights of the day might include watching a Falcon stoop down from the skies at over 100mph and admiring the grace of the Eagles, Kites and Hawks.
