We had a fantastic time! The house was super cosy with plenty of spots to explore nearby. The views over the Tweed valley and the Merse are absolutely stunning. The kitchen with the Aga was surprisingly easy to operate. With all 12 of us, everyone enjoyed it, especially the birdlife around the house. Plus, there’s a lovely walk down to the Tweed. Being next to a farm added a peaceful vibe. We really didn’t want to leave!

We had a lovely stay at this cosy, well-equipped house. It was beautifully prepared for us, with super comfy beds and fancy bathrooms. There was plenty of space for everyone to do their own thingand the kids couldn't get enough of the hot tub! The kitchen was perfect for cooking and having a natter over a cuppa by the Aga. The area is stunningand we enjoyed walks and a visit to Harestanes Country Park with its great accessible playground. Definitely recommend!

We had an excellent stay! The house was cosy, spaciousand beautifully decorated for Christmas, making it feel really festive. Communication with the owners was smooth, which helped us relax. James
We loved this place! The cottage is super spacious, perfect for big groups. Great location, easy access to nearby spotsand beautiful views all around.
James
We had a lovely stay! The house is spacious, perfect for groupsand the bedrooms were comfy and spotless. It would be even better if there were tea and coffee facilities in the rooms, though. The bathrooms are quite big and stylishly decorated, which we appreciated. Angela’s little touch of leaving eggs and bread in the kitchen was a nice surprise. We heard upgrades are coming, which is good since a few things could use some attention. The hot tub was a lovely addition, but it only reached 37°C, so not quite “hot” enough for us. Still, we enjoyed it!
Emma
Great spot for family gatherings, we’ll definitely return soon, loved the vibe here!
