Heading south, the historic city of Perth (9.5 miles) is known for major landmarks and attractions including the magnificent Scone Palace, the popular Perth Racecourse, the tranquil Branklyn Garden and the famous Perth Museum – home to the Stone of Destiny.
For golfers, the area offers a choice of fantastic courses, including those at Blairgowrie, Dunkeld and Gleneagles, all within 25 miles. Other local landmarks include The Hermitage, the Ranageig Stone Circle, Kinclaven Bluebell Woods and Dunsinane Hill Fort, all within 18 miles.
