The cottage was nice. There was nothing too much for the owners tho, they were amazing!! The hot tub was a bit cold, but it was fixed midweek. No Tv Freeview only smart TV.... They had left us lots of goodies, cake, eggs and everything
An enjoyable holiday, helped by the very good location of Maryland Cottage. Close to a number of major roads, this makes it ideal for days out in the South East Highlands, as well as attractions and townscities in the Central Belt. The property was clean, spacious and comfortable. The wine and other goodies on arrival were a welcoming touch. Thank you Arlene and Ally.

We loved everything about Marland Cottage , it was cozy and comfy ,well equipped cottage . Because of its situation you can easily visit lots of lovely places on day trips , beaches ,,castles museums , distilleries and lots more. Good eateries less than 20 minutes drive from cottage ,we used the Nook in Abernethy,Bein Inn,and Village Inn in Bridge Earn recommend them all. The hot tub is a lovey extra to enjoy . Would definitely like to return as there are more place we would like to visit in the area. Arlene and Ally were lovely hosts leaving lots of goodies for us eggs, milk etc all were very nice not to mention a freshly baked chocolate cake, and bottle of fizzy . Thanks Arlene & Ally for sharing your lovely cottage with us Virginia,Alan & Gerrard
We really enjoyed another stay at Maryland cottage. Lots of facilities and a real home from home. The welcome hamper is the best weve ever seen. Definitely recommend.

Was fantastic. All the small touches really made a big difference. The home made cake was amazing and more fitting as we stayed for my husbands 40th birthday. We have raved about our stay to all our friends and family. Tried our best to be respectful guests and leave things as we found them.
We had a fantastic stay at Maryland Cottage and the owners Ally and Arlene made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage was extremely well kitted out, was warm, comfortable and felt like a home from home. The hottub was the icing on the cake speaking of cake, Arlenes homemade cake was delicious and was one of many lovely little thoughtful treats left for us. We would love to come back!
Had a most enjoyable stay at Maryland Cottage. Accommodation is very comfortable, well equipped and hot tub is a lovely bonus. Owner Arlene is friendly and very helpful if required. There was a lovely welcome basket of goodies and a bottle of fizz awaiting our arrival. The cottage is well situated for exploring further afield . We had a trip in to Perth and a walk to Abernethy great coffee shop The Nook but the rest was total relaxation. Would highly recommend. Thanks for a great few days.

A lovely, very well equipped cottage, in a perfect location for visiting Edinburgh, St Andrews, Perth and Stirling. It has a quirky layout but is very comfortable, and the sun room was a great place to spend time planning our days out. The hot tub a great bonus too for the end of the day!
If you have a four legged friend to take on holiday, then this is the cottage for you. Great enclosed gardens front and rear. Hot tub superb. Great location for visiting Stirling, Perth, Dundee. Had a great time, would book again. The welcome pack that Ali and Arlene put in the cottage for us on our arrival was greatly appreciated.

This property was comfortable and clean. 2 really important elements for us. Perhaps a little dated but not a problem. The welcome pack was very generous. Property was what it said on the tin!

This cottage is a beautiful home away from home. It is everything and more from the pictures and the description. It is a beautifully presented and well maintained cottage which was very clean on our arrival. There was a very nice welcome basket of milk, fresh eggs, Prosecco, cheese & biscuits and four cakes. The owner next door is on hand but only comes round to tend to the hot tub. The gardensfront and back are lovely with false grass and paving in the back and gravel in the front which are totally enclosed so our two dogs had the full run of the area with no fear of escaping. The hot tub was the favourite of our grandson 7 who spent every available moment in there. The views from the front of the cottage are amazing and lovely to see from the windowed room at the front. This is a lovely cottage and we will definitely be back.

We had a fab stay at Maryland Cottage. Great location, we visited St Andrews, Stirling and Kinnoull Woodland Walk. The cottage itself is very comfortable, lovely big kitchen, bright and airy livingdining room and cosy bedrooms. The garden space is large, wraps around the cottage and the hot tub was a lovely treat! Thanks for the starter pack and wine and cake! Would love to revisit and would recommend!

We loved everything about the cottage from the moment we arrived. It's different but in a good way! I'd say the best of two worlds. In the front garden and from the house looking on to the wonderful views yet the road is behind to get easily to anywhere. You dont hear it in the house & easy to forget it's there when your relaxing in the hottub. Loved the welcoming goodies. Thankyou to Ally & Arlene. Will definitely go back.
Great property and the hot tub was a good way to relax. Well equipped and the main routes are only minutes away.
Lovely cottage well sited for touring both north and south. Close to Edinburgh, but also easy access to the cairngorm area. Comfy cottage well equipped. Sun room was a bonus as was the hot tub. Good secure garden for the dogs.

We have had a great stay and have already booked to return. We really enjoyed all the facilities, especially the sun room. It was very safe for our 2 dogs too. The welcome pack was amazing. Thank you for thinking of everything.

Great cottage, the photos don't do it justice. Well fitted out with comfy seating and beds. Lovely well equipped kitchen. Added bonus of a great goodie basket, which included yummy cake, fresh eggs etc, milk and more goodies in the fridge. Outside is completely secure for our dogs, which was such a relief. The back garden is well presented with table, chairs and a jacuzzi. The front also has a table and chairs to sit and enjoy the scenery. Spent a lot of time in the sun room looking out at the lovely views. The owners were lovely and very accommodating. Great communication. Would happily recommend and visit again.
Victoria
Wow what a beautiful cottage! ! This has to be one of the best we've stayed in. From the amazing views, beautiful welcome pack and incredible hot tub. To the comfortable and well thought out furnishings and everything you need for a perfect stay. This was a great base to go exploring Scotland further, such as St Andrews, Falkirk The Kelpies, Newburgh, Aberdour and more. We'll definitely be back and will be recommending this to all friends and family. Thank you both for being such great hosts
Wonderful week at Maryland Cottage. The owners, Ally and Arlene were brilliant and left us a lovely welcome pack on our arrival. Hot tub was a must for relaxing after walking out two dogs and the beds were very comfortable too. Would highly recommend this property if looking for a base to explore Perthshire and the surrounding areas.
We have stayed in so many holiday homes, you always have a little improvement you think the owners can do. But not with this place ,clean tidy comfortable amazing location for traveling. Very comfortable beds and very good kitchen and bathroom. Cant wait to go back. Ps the village has everything you need less than 6 minutes away.
Maryland Cottage is a beautiful place to stay. It's a great location and is a wonderful place to come back to after a days exploring the local area. The cottage is warm, spacious and very well equipped, as well as being beautifully decorated and extreemly clean. The beds are really big and comfy too. The hot tub in the evenings was such a lovely treat to relax in. The garden is secure, so our dog enjoyed being free to wander around when home. The owners were very quick to respond to our emails, and they left us some lovely treats in the house too! We would wholeheartedly recommend a stay here and we will definitely be back to explore the area further.
Taylor
