The gardens are a peaceful and colourful place to spend the day with a wide variety of flora and fauna on display. Other attractions here include live viewing of the Tweed Valley ospreys, a Gift Shop where children can pick up a souvenir, a Tearoom serving tasty local produce and home cooked meals, a Children's Corner, Putting Green, and a gorgeous private 2½ mile stretch on the River Tweed where visitors can enjoy Fly Fishing and a Picnic Area.

M&D's, Scotland's Family Theme Park is a "must do" day out if you are in the Strathclyde region. The fun attraction is set within 20 acres of beautiful Country Park and offers rides, shows and activities for the whole family to enjoy. The site also has two adventure playgrounds and a fleet of fun boats. The area is also abundant with wildlife and has a Bird Sanctuary.
Smoo Cave - IV27 4QB

Smoo Cave is a popular attraction which can be enjoyed all year round but visitors should wrap up warm during the winter months.  This spectacular limestone sea-cave in Sutherland is the largest in Britain and is simply spectacular. The cave was formed by a burn that runs down into the rear chamber, as well as erosion caused by the sea. Guests can take the path from the car park which runs right through the cave. Boat trips are available in the summer months and are an excellent way to fully appreciate the cave from all angles.
