Soak up the scenic views as you prepare a romantic meal for two in the stylish kitchen, take your seats at the dining suite and chat about your day’s adventures, then stretch out before the contemporary wood burner on a choice of comfortable lounge seating.

There’s a Smart TV so you can stream your movie favourites. When you’re ready to sleep, a fabulous king-size bedroom beckons, complete with more exposed beams and a chic en-suite shower room.

Edged by fields, the garden here is charming and sanctuary-like, with a patio, charcoal BBQ and quirky covered seating area. For the ultimate in laid-back leisure, fire up the hot tub – it’s undercover for year-round use.

The hideaway was perfect. Very comfortable. The view from the Jacuzzi . The sunset over the trees. The pub is just a short walk away. Thanks to the hosts.
Anne
We had a lovely weekend at The Hideaway. It is very tasteful, cosy and welcoming. It was really clean and well-equipped. The out side area is fantastic; the sheltered reading nook, hot tub and bistro set were spot on. The bed was so comfortable. It had everything we needed plus robes! We've never had those at a cottage before. The information folder was comprehensive and we came back with our batteries recharged. Battle Abbey was a short drive away and fascinating
Kay

We have just spent a week here and we absolutely loved it, our 2 German shepherds also loved it! Spending evenings in the top of the range hot tub relaxing before going to bed was just what we needed! The hosts Steve & Kim made us feel most welcome upon our arrival. We would definitely recommend this place if youâ??re looking for a relaxing stress free break away in the most peaceful rural setting!

Beautiful accommodation, which is comfortable, well planned, and cosy. The garden, with its stunning view and hot tub, is really beautiful, and was much more to us than just a base from which to explore the surrounding countryside and nearby seaside. We loved the peace and beauty, and really appreciated the friendliness and hospitality of our hosts, Kim and Steve. We will definitely go back if we can.
