Ella's Loft Reviews

Great place to stay Very quiet Very pleased with our weekend stay Hot tub very nice
My daughter and I had a fantastic few days at Ella's loft. The owners where friendly and welcoming and the loft is a lovely little space. The loft had everything we needed to self cater and was warm and comfortable. Yes its small but I would say perfectly formed and plenty of space for the two of us. Its a lovely peaceful location but well sited for Canterbury and the coast. The hot tub is a lovely addition and being undercover means it can be used in all weathers. I'm really looking forward to visiting again in the future.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ella's Loft. Very comfortable accommodation and fab hot tub. Easy access to Kent's many attractions. World definitely recommend to others.
I think overall Ellas loft is a great place to stay and I enjoyed my week away. The bed was very comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need. The homemade muffins were a nice touch. The hot tub was one of the best Ive used. Definitely the highlight of my week. However its clear that the photos advertised were taken when the place was new. In my opinion it could do with a spruce up. Cracks in the bathroom floor, plaster coming off of the walls. It was pointed out to me that the blind in the bedroom was broken and being held down by wire, surely this is something that can easily be replaced? The WiFi didnt work at all during my stay, I reported it and was told the router had been reset but it still didnt work. I had to use my own mobile data to watch the tv. I was only provided with one toilet roll and had to ask for more when that ran out mid stay. I dont think this is something guests should have to ask for. I dont like to leave negative feedback but there are just a few things that were missing for me to make this a five star stay.

Such a lovely little get away, would highly recommend! The owners are lovely and supplied cute homemade muffins, rolls, bacon & eggs! Would highly recommend
Lovely little place to stay, welcome pack was so kind, and the home made cherry muffins topped it off! But having some milk, eggs, bacon, tea, coffee, sugar so you don't need to worry when you first arrive is a great touch. Lovely people, not intrusive, but if you need anything ate really helpful. Place is small but everything is a nice touch, hot tub is wonderful, peaceful location and so easy to get to different places. Highly recommended
Two wonderful relaxing weeks in Kent, beautiful location and great hosts Steve and Sheila and Ralph
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ellas loft. Very well equipped, hosts were lovely and we loved the hot tub. We will definitely recommend and stay again in future.
Had a wonderful time. Perfect!! Was like being a million miles away. The perfect staycation
This is a great little place and perfect to relax and unwind.

Such a lovely homely feel when you arrive. so relaxing and the hot tub is a bonus. Very well equipped with kitchen items and a lovely welcome package with home made scones which was amazing, jam, cream , bacon, eggs, bread, butter and some milk. The owners was lovely and helpful too.
We really enjoyed our stay at Ellas loft! It is great has been done with the space. We were also very grateful for the homemade scones and welcome package and the hot tub was a lovely way to end each day. We will definitely be back, thank you!

Spent a lovely 4 nights at Ellas loft. Lovely warm welcome from Steve and Ralf which included home made scones, butter, cream and jam which were delicious. Also included in welcome pack was bacon, bread, eggs, tea, coffee, milk and sugar. Ellas loft maybe small but the facilities are perfect and included everything we needed for a wonderfully comfortable stay. As for the hot tub, it was the icing on the cake and best one weve ever been in. Perfect location for getting out and about during the day. Im certain we will return.
Was met by Steve and Shelia who are so kind and showed me around on my arrival and are available should you need anything! The welcome package is such a nice touch particularly the homemade cakes!! The place itself is warm and cosy and found it a great location to explore Kent! Would highly recommend and hopefully be back one day in the future!
Enjoyed a brilliant week away in Ella's Loft. Cosy well appointed conversion. Loads of space for 2. Great facilities and large hot tub. Remote location, but with great access to major roads and the whole of Kent. Only issue would be the toaster that needed to be held down to work so petty so how good is the rest of it!
Steven
Unique and wonderful experience at 'Ella's Loft'. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome by Steve the owner. The welcome pack of locally produced milk, butter, scones, eggs, and bacon is such a nice gesture. Great location allowing us to explore Broadstairs, Faversham and Chillham. Lovely and picturesque part of the UK. A hot tub, wood burner on the decking makes for a relaxing stay. As others have referenced, the property is styled and designed in a specific way. Thats what makes it so special and unique. Lovely stay and a real recharge of the batteries Thanks Steve and Shelia.
Wonderful loft. Hosts are very helpful and friendly. Loved the hot tub, and they even managed to find us some playing cards.
Anna-marie
Absolutely lovely place, and Steve and Sheila are so friendly and caring. I had the best time and highly recommend to everyone! Also Ralph is the best and I miss him lots.
A lovely relaxing week in a quiet area. Lovely scenic walks and bike riding close to cottage and only a short drive to 3 nice local friendly pubs which serve food too. 3040 mins drive to most Kent beach areas on North and East coasts and lots of things to visit and make a full day of it. Cottage is cosy and quiet at night and the Hottub is amazing, like having a warm bath and getting massaged at the same time with calming lights and a glass of wine, a perfect end to a busy day. The hosts are really friendly and left some nice goodies on arrival. Loved the fruit muffins. Thank you both Steve and Sheila.
We had a lovely week and really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub . The hosts were very warm and gave us a coffee maker as soon as we asked for one . Busy week visiting family and touring around .
We had a great few days here. Very relaxing. The hot tub makes it
The loft was absolutely stunning! The hosts were lovely and the hot tub was the cherry on top. Perfect if you want to completely unwind.
A beautiful property tucked away in a lovely quiet lane. The welcome from the owners Steve, Sheila and little Ella was lovely as was the yummy welcome pack and the delicious cakes baked by Steve. The property is beautiful although not for the tall. We are only 52 and 54 but struggled a little with the eaves in the kitchen and bedroom mind you our joints arent that bendy lol. The loft was beautiful, clean and comfortable and the hot tub was a real bonus. It was a great place from which to explore Kent, Leeds castle at Maidstone our favourite. Would highly recommend.
Louise
I've stayed here twice now. Sheila and Steve are the most welcoming hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. Ella's loft if the perfect getaway.
Great property, spotlessly clean, helpful hosts. Especially enjoyed the hot tub!
Joanne
We received a warm welcome from our hosts. The loft is unique and located in a beautiful and peaceful setting. It was incredibly clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was included and no detail was spared. The hot tub was really special. We loved our stay.
Loved every minute of our stay! ! would highly recommend!! Everything was catered for and the quiet, eloquent and discreet setting created an ambiance to feel like we had the perfect private retreat for our short getaway The owners were very welcoming and available should we need them the only thing missing was the weather catching the sunset from the hot tub would have capped the whole trip off
Beautifully finished property with such good quality finishing touches. Really feels like a home from home, cosy and stunning surroundings.
A little gem of a place. ..thank you.
Amanda
Just a great relaxing stay everything there and fantastic owners just need another two weeks ! Lovely mince pies x

Good quiet location. Excellent hosts. Had a lovely time. Particularly enjoyed the hot tub.
There is road noise
Wonderful place to escape to, well equipped accommodation with the Hot Tub being the main highlight! The Hosts Sheila & Steve are very welcoming & helpful plus the welcome basket etc was very thoughtful.
We had a really lovely stay at Ellas Loft. Steve and Shiela were super friendly and welcoming, had lots of great recommendations and the welcome pack with homemade muffins was much appreciated! The loft itself was really well equipped small but perfectly formed! Hot tub was an absolute treat too. Would recommend!
Victoria
What a wonderful little gem in the Kentish countryside. We absolutely loved our stay here. Almost in two minds whether to leave a review as the selfish part of me wants to keep this place secret. Located in the beutiful town of Godmersham, Ella's Loft is a great base for either a relaxing weekend away or a week of exploring all the wonders Kent has to offer. Lots of lovely walk or cycling options straight from your doorstep. The hosts Steve and Sheila were wonderfully friendly and accommodating. They invited us for a walk one night and they let us explore grounds of the gorgeous Godmersham Hall with them and their two very lovable dogs. They gave us loads of great recommendations and Steve's baking was something else. The loft itself is very homely and well equipped. It's perfect for a couple. The hot tub is a wonderful luxury we ensured to make the most of during our stay. On our last night we were even lucky enough to see a meteor shower. We will definitely be looking to return in the future.
Fantastic
Cannot say how wonderful our stay was in ?Ellas Loft?the owners Sheila & Steve were amazing, knowledgable and super helpful. The hot tub was first class with brilliant views. I cannot recommend this enough if anyone was thinking of booking you will not be disappointed. My mum and 2 sisters will be going back again very soon! Thank you for such a wonderful stay.
Sandra
Where it situated is a ideal spot for walkers, and the hot tub was lovely to go in, lovely comfy place. Dog friendly
The place was absolutely lovely, and we arrived to a wonderful welcome pack. Steve and Sheila were the perfect hosts, there was nothing that was too much. We will definitely be returning!
Lovely escape for us.
I went with my friend who booked it as a treat for us both. What a wonderful place this is, with equally wonderful hosts. It?s just what we needed for a girls midweek break away. The loft is like a tardis, being bigger on the inside than what it looks on the outside. It was peaceful and relaxing and we made good use of relaxing and unwinding in the hot tub. Slept like a baby too (obviously not a newborn ) We went to Ashford outlet centre on one day and Canterbury the next day, both not too far away with a car, I?m unsure about public transport or taxis as we didn?t need them. Highly recommended.
