About The Warren

The Warren is a spacious and light filled cabin, hand-crafted by its' owner, boasting two double bedrooms, each linked to the main living hub with floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing you to connect with the surrounding nature outside. The Warren uses energy-efficient techniques to ensure you have a cosy experience during your stay.

The main area is open-plan with French doors to a decked area and a fully-equipped kitchen and dining area. Both bedrooms have en-suite wet rooms and are linked to the main hub, equipped with seating in both areas allowing everyone to enjoy the outside from the comfort of the inside when you are relaxing and watching the world go by!

The interiors have been designed with comfort in mind, with some of the smaller pieces of furniture having been made by the owner; and there are many thoughtful touches provided to ensure you have a carefree stay. Outside there is a seating area with a chiminea and a hot tub, with additional seating under a tented canopy and barbecue (Summer months or weather permitting).

The hot tub seats 6 so, if The Warren and it's smaller sister, The Bolthole, are booked together, it's definitely roomy enough for everyone! In addition, there is a central area with a shared utility kitchen that houses two washing machines: one for human use and the other is for your doggy towels and blankets, if they require a rinse.

There is also a storage cupboard for wet coats and muddy boots and an outside tap for washing muddy paws. The Warren is set amid 10 acres of land, predominantly farmland and neighbouring fields, which form part of a working cattle and sheep farm.

There are many footpaths from your doorstep and you can walk to the local pub where dogs are welcome. There are wildlife cameras set up all around, allowing you to nature-watch, real-time, on your TV.
