Kick off your walking shoes in the entrance hallway before making your way into the cosy lounge, which is flooded with natural light and features a wood burner that sets the scene for pure relaxation.

Further into this delightful home-away-from-home, you’ll discover the quaint snug, which boasts a sofa that can be converted into a bed for two children. With bi-fold patio doors opening onto the garden and soothing neutral hues that perfectly complement your delightful green surroundings, the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner provides plenty of room for the whole family to unwind, cook, and dine after a busy day’s adventure.

Across the ground floor and first floor, you’ll find four elegant bedrooms, two super-king-size and two super-king-size zip-and-link bedrooms (which can be made up as twins), two of which feature stylish en-suite facilities. Outside, the large enclosed garden awaits, where you can relax in the bubbling hot tub and dine alfresco as children and dogs roam free on the lawn.

There is private parking available for six cars. For those eager to embrace the coast, enjoy miles of glorious shoreline and breathtaking cliff-top paths along the renowned Seven Bays beaches surrounding the picturesque village of St Merryn.

Further afield, visit the charming village of Padstow, just 3 miles away, to explore its selection of independent cafés and restaurants, or search for marine wildlife aboard Padstow Sealife Safaris, a high-speed boat ride from Padstow Harbour out to the spectacular Camel Estuary. Situated on the eastern side of Trevose Head, spend hours building sandcastles, paddling the waves, walking the dunes, and exploring the rock pools of Harlyn Bay Beach 1.5 miles away.

The award winning Newquay Zoo makes a fun family day out in North Cornwall.  With over 130 different species of animals to see and plenty of fun activities for the kids this attraction is ideal.  Recent additions to the zoo include the African Savanna and the Madagascan Walkthrough exhibit.  Kids will love the play area, face painting, tarzan trail and animal encounters.  Different events tale place throughout the year such as the Halloween Zoo Boo family fun event on 31st October.
Springfields Fun Park & Pony Centre - PL15 8EU

Springfields Fun Park & Pony Centre offers a day full of action and adventure for all the family come rain or shine. If the weather is good then children can take advantage of the vast open space to run around and play, enjoy pony rides, train rides, trampolines and Go-Karts and explore the nature trails. If the weather is not on your side then the huge play barn is the place to head and as climbing frames, slides, ball pool and rope swings as well as a baby and toddler area.
Dairyland Farm World - TR8 5AA

Open from end March to end October this is a lovely attraction suited to families with kids of all ages.  You don't need to worry about the weather either as this is an all weather attraction with the addition of soft play areas and a ball pool for the little ones.  Some of the highlights include the Bull Pen indoor play area, the Raging Bulls Ride, Pat-aPet and the Mini tractors.  Of course there is also the opportunity to get up close to the farm animals and try some bottle feeding.
Tintagel Castle - PL34 0HE

Tintagel Castle is one of the most iconic landmarks in Cornwall and is an excellent place for a family day out. Situated on the stunning Cornish Coast the Castle has a mystical and magical presence and is steeped in historical importance. Indeed the Legend of King Arthur was born right here. The Castle and grounds also provide a home for many species of wildlife as well as some amazing flora and fauna. The site also has a small visitor's centre with souvenir shop and a wonderful Beach Café.

The Eden Project is a fantastic local attraction in Cornwall which will appeal to families and couples.  From the moment you step through the entrance it's clear that this is no ordinary attraction.  All under one roof you will find a giant rainforest, Horticulture courses, rock climbing, ice skating and an arts cafe.  Not all of these activities are on at one time, they are staggered throughout the year so check out the website to see what's available when you plan to visit.  Autumn at Eden is very popular with events such as daily apple pressing and Time Changing Tales (story telling with an autumn theme).
Lost Gardens of Heligan - PL26 6EN

The Monkey Sanctuary - PL13 1NZ

This attraction is really unique in that you have the opportunity to gain a rare insight into a working sanctuary.  You can see first hand all of the fantastic work carried out as well as seeing the monkeys themselves.  Other popular areas of this attraction include the Bat Cave and Wildlife Room. the Wildlife Gardens and the kids play area.  There is something for everyone at The Monkey Sanctuary and you can also sponsor and donate if you wish.  The cost to adopt a monkey is from just £2 a month.
The Rock Gardens, Caves and Nursery - TQ5 9HG
